Reffryder,
We would recommend the Klim Radium Goggles or the 509 Sinisters. Both of these come in the rose colored lens. The sinisters have improved visibility in this years model with fog proof lens technology. The Rediums are very high tech, the lens is thermally bonded for 24 hours then heated again during production to evaporate any moisture that may have built up during the manufacturing process for a vivid lens throughout the Radius Goggle’s entire field of vision. If you have any more questions on these googles we would be happy to help you make a decision!

KLIM RADIUS TINTED <<<<<<<<

509 SINISTER GOGGLES <<<<<<<

That's funny. The guy in the Blown Motor booth at the Puyallup Snow Show on Sunday recommended the yellow 509 Sinister's for flat light so that's what I bought.

No kidding, this was the color of every pair of Klim goggles I have ever tried -

Seriously.
You had HORRIBLE fogging problems with them?

If you got some of their early goggles, then it IS possible you have some bad lenses. I would contact KLIM and see if you can get the lenses swapped out and replaced.

Both original radius and radius pro from last year.

Not worrying about swapping them, already got my money back on both pairs.

I will be sticking with 509

Oakley has 3 new lens w/ what they call prizm technology. The jade and rose lens for flat light look amazing. 15 years in the making, they say it is going to change everything as far as how we see snow in all conditions.

Word on the street is that the Prizm lenses are just awesome. I'd definitely like to try them out. I've been running the Blue Iridium this past season and really like it for flat light, cloud, sun, whatever. It's been a fantastic lens for every lighting condition. Contrast is very important, especially in flat light, the rust color of the Blue Iridium does a pretty good job at increasing contrast. Hopefully the Prizm lenses live up to the hype and are a noticeable improvement. Oakley is already quite a bit farther ahead in technology than most other eyewear brands, that is definitely where I'm putting my bucks.

Fly F2 carbon and airbrake w/ blue iridium. And I used h.i. Yellow a lot in flat light. I also run the splice. Best thing to do when looking for new googles is take your helmet shopping w you and go try them on. So you know your getting a good fit and they seal up around your face.

Yellow is by far the best solution for our staff here at the shop and is overall the best selling lens we have. The original person asked about red so we suggested which red tints that we carry that would answer his question. Not that we were suggesting it was the best, just helping point ReffRyder in the direction he was looking. There really is no right answer to this question. Everybody's vision and eyes are different. For some people yellow is too bright, and rose or blue works well, for others rose and blue are not bright enough. Also, every bodies terrain is different. Some people have zero issues on the trail but struggle to see in the trees or vise versa. We try to stick away from convincing somebody on a lens color unless they 100% ask for our input. If they have a question about a lens color they have heard of or are curious about we will answer that question and not try to shove our opinions down there throat. Hope that helps explain why there could be different answers to the same question.

I've been running Airbrakes and love them, if the flight decks will fit in the helmet, I'd like to try them out. I checked some out in the shop the other day and they seem really good.

I have contacted Oakley and requested some of these goggles for a full review.

if they really do what they are claiming, it would be EXTRAORDINARY!!

This is absolutely what most of our days in Island Park look like.
FLAT HORRIBLE LIGHT

looked online but not avalible most places, looks like the rose is best for the worst light conditions in the prizms,i have always used yellow

Dr. Bob Smith once told me not all lens colors are built alike....Smith Turbo Fans with there polarized lens is the way to go.

Goggles IMO are all about how you handle them. The worst thing you can do is touch the lens

DPG

very light blue or clear for the really bad flat light days, yellow and rose work good as well

they dont ship to canada but found some now in canada.[/Q

Where at and were they a reasonable price.
I just ordered some from the U.S.A and got them shipped to a mail forwarding place. Oakley Airbrake with Prizm Black Iridium & Prizm rose for $260 usd

Can't wait to get some sled rider feedback.

DO THEY REALLY WORK.?

I will be giving an honest review of these once I can try them along with the 2 other brands of goggles that I bought this fall.
I only wear Oakley sunglasses and I'm hoping that these goggles are the same quality I have come to expect from them.
