Was at local sled store the other day, we were talking goggles. Minutes later the Zeal rep walked in. After a conversation about there new photochromatic lens I decided... What the H lets try them. They will have them in at the end of next week. Another horse in the race. I will report findings ASAP.

I used to use yellow, but I've found those 509 orange polarized lenses do better for me in virtually all riding conditions than any other kind of lens unless its a bluebird day and the sun is shining everywhere, then I just used the smoke polarized lens.

No shortage of opinions on this one,

Heres my take, wear what you like and stay in the trees in flat light or stay home. Cant put the hammer down and go like you want without really putting yourself at risk for injury.

Been though 10 pairs, yellow unpolarized is best for me. Also best for shaded tree riding when it is sunny, and for blinding you when you ride out of said shaded trees when it's sunny:face-icon-small-ton

This ... I've taken a liking to the Klim green lenses for flat light riding, but yeah they blind the crap out of me when its sunny out.

The Orange color Klims do that also. All you see is Orange after you take them off. Work well in low light not on sunny days.

Rose

I have a hell of a time seeing anything in flat light. My go to is either the Smith i O/S in rose or the Oakley Rose Prism lens. For mixed light I like Zeal's photochromatic polarized lens. Not cheap, but I've never had an issue with fogging on any of these goggles, and my vision is vastly improved.
