Polarized is what i prefer. Been wearing polarized glasses since i was 16 and cannot go back to anything else. I think with the polarized you can see things way better. Fishing i can look right into the water. Same as lookin at drifts or changes in scenery.

What is everybody using? I used blue tint this weekend and well, the sucked... bad. I ended up borrowing a set of yellow tinted goggles and they were better. I have heard that a red tint or rose tint is supposed to be even better.

I know what to use for night riding, I know what to use for when it is really bright out, but what are you guys using for flat conditions? Have you compared what you are using to anything else? I was blown away when I looked through another guys goggles, they were much better then the yellow tint, but I am not sure as to the exact color, maybe rose?

Blue for me, but not on the poll!

Hi Intensity Amber Polarized The greatest goggle ever. Great visibility in the low light, and when the sun comes out it darkens up a bit. Great for variable overcast days or snow days.

Got these lenses for the Sinisters couple rides back. I absolutly love them, best lense color I have used.

My yellow lenses in the 509 Aviators I have give me EXCELLENT flat light visability and better field of vision than anything else I have (oakley, Smith, Scott, spy, etc etc)

My spy blizzards work great on those snowy days. They are a darker orange lense

I am a nut about my goggles. Tried a LOT of stuff. The absolute best I have found is the Smith Ignitor lens. You can't get that lense in the motor sports line, gotta go ski line. I use the I/O and I love the fact that you can pop lenses out easily and change for the condition. This goggle is pricey though. We ski is flat light all the time and that lens makes it much easier to see the terrain. That stupid door on the Havervision goggle fan will just fall off again, no use to get another one. Waste of time and effort. I see the new model has a better door but I feel like I got burned the first time so I just keep the 3(damn) I bought and bitch.

Before starting my small Goggle brand, I tested TONS of different lenses and lens colors etc. First off Flat light just sucks regardless, that said, I found the yellow/orange(ish) tints worked the best for me. They brought out the shadows and bumps a little better which helped me at least see the contour of the land better.

Oakley has 3 new lens w/ what they call prizm technology. The jade and rose lens for flat light look amazing. 15 years in the making, they say it is going to change everything as far as how we see snow in all conditions.

I prefer straight yellow if cloudy and u know it isnt going to get bright out or Rose for just about any condition.

Reffryder,
We would recommend the Klim Radium Goggles or the 509 Sinisters. Both of these come in the rose colored lens. The sinisters have improved visibility in this years model with fog proof lens technology. The Rediums are very high tech, the lens is thermally bonded for 24 hours then heated again during production to evaporate any moisture that may have built up during the manufacturing process for a vivid lens throughout the Radius Goggle’s entire field of vision. If you have any more questions on these googles we would be happy to help you make a decision!
