My Prizm lenses showed up today. An initial impression is even without snow, I noticed greater definition and contrast at what I was looking at, as well as less refraction from lights compared with non-prizm lenses. So far, they seem great. Hopefully I get out tomorrow and can give a full report.

Which color of prizm lens did you wear today? What kind of weather was it?

PLEASE REPORT BACK ASAP.

Oakley Prizm Lens Report:

Game changer, 400% better definition in whites, one of the significant advances in goggle technology ever. I can't overstate the difference between the prizm lenses and Oakley's conventional lenses that have already set the bar for goggle technology.

I give them a massive thumbs up!!!!

Which prizm lens did you try so far? Thinking of getting the Jade and maybe a rose. Thanks for the report!

Correct! Jade and rose.

Which one do you prefer for an all around lens? I love my 509 polarized lenses. Brown for flat light and smoke for sun, but hate only having one of each, and really don't want to carry 4 goggles on every trip with me.

The airbrakes (oakley model) come with 2 lenses that easily change out, buy one set of googles, get 2 lenses. Pick the right lens for the weather. The jade prizm lens is likely the best all round lens.

The prizm lenses have made everything else obsolete.

Seriously??
Are they really that good?

Oakley's marketing materials that show the side-by-side difference in definition with whites is bang on. That is exactly it's like, looking at a well photoshopped image, only for real.

Jorli, which helmet do u use, does it fit perfect?
I use an Airoh Stealth and the "new" 509 X5 does not fit that well, the old Sinister and Klim fit like a glove.

I run a large Airoh Aviator and I also now have a Terminator as well that I use with Oakley Airbrakes. They are a great combination for me.

OK
Thats good enough for me.
Placing an order for a set today!

And unless I am reading their site incorrectly, only the FLIGHT DECK goggle offers the ROSE colored lens that Oakley is recommending for FLAT LIGHT conditions.??????

Amazon has them for $169 w/ Free shipping

<header> Oakley Flight Deck with Prizm Lens – Gear Review

Being a skier who mainly skis on the east coast, finding a google lens that is good for the east coast’s variable and quickly changing conditions can often be tricky. Some people have been saying for years that a rose colored lens is the way to go for a good all-around winter google, but not too many have really researched it. That is until this year, when Oakley unveiled its new Prizm lens on their Flight Deck goggle.

To better test the capabilities of the goggle I was told to take a regular yellow lensed google in the same price range of the flight deck and look through it outside, with the glare of snow reflecting off the ground. The difference was astonishing and instantly made me ask how much they cost. Not only does the Prizm lens on the flight deck give you more peripheral vision, but it also has glare reduction and

the ability to balance light unlike any other goggle/ lens combo I’ve ever tested. What makes the Prizm lens stand out among other lenses, is that it works well in all conditions. It reduces glare on those hi-light sunny days but also allows for clear vision on lo-light, overcast days. Oakley in my eyes, has always been excellent at goggle fogging reduction as well, and the flight deck is no different. With their F3- Anti Fogging technology you don’t have to worry about your goggles fogging up on those epic ski days. The flexible chassis frame of the Flight Deck allows the goggles to fit too many different face shapes and with a low profile design, many different types of helmets. Compatibility is really something Oakley strived to achieve here with the Flight Deck and we really think they hit the nail on the head with this goggle.

The Prizm lens is available in the A-frame, Canopy, Airbrake, Splice, and Elevate as well as the Flight Deck. It also comes in other lens colors than the rose, but we think the rose colored lens is the best option for east coast conditions. Available in the Out of Bounds section of Basin Sports, feel free to call us at 802-422-3234 if you have any questions or want more info on this lens.

I recommend checking the goggle with your helmet to make certain it fits, I tried them and found the flight decks a little too large for my helmets.

Ya, this is a real concern for me as well.
But I want those ROSE colored lenses!

Is there a chance that Lens Color = B-32 is the same as ROSE???
I see that listed on some of the smaller frames and they LOOK like a pink lens.

BINGO!
The B-32 Prizm is the Rose tint, and it's made for low to medium light.
Not a clue why the heck they don't call is ROSE, but it is the correct Low Light Lens for Overcase FLAT LIGHT DAYS.

Christopher, go on the Oakley website, search the model you want and look for an SKU #, that is the best way to identify the product correctly. Oakley has a unique category for their Prizm goggles, should be easy to match things up. If you plan on buying online, Oakley Canada has been stupid fast, I bet Oakley USA is great as well.

Cheers!-J
