I thought so..I have a trapping cabin up at the headwaters of the little O..snow looks better then I figured it would..nice pics...

Ha, ha a trapping cabin up on the lil O perfect. Yeah I was surprised to be greeted by blue skies and powder for sure. Clouded up by the time we left and was starting to snow again.

yea my buddy has a cabin over offyacko creek and he was up checking my cabin this weekend and setting some traps up behind my place...havent heard from him how the snow was but as good as it looks where you were it is probably real good up at my place.....hmm..gonna have to go for a ride soon....
Not bad at all today
Just got back from Eureka. Had to try the Eureka Burger finally. Holy Hell that is a good burger.
Anyways first time up there so we stayed in/around the trails and got back to Monument (hardly any snow up on top), but the snow getting up was alright. Really sugary under the 2-3" of crust, but overall it was a fun ride. Needs a couple more feet so Im not weed wackin in the powder. Had a couple good stucks trying to hill climb with no base, just dig down to the alders and sticks pretty much. Awesome weather though! Will go back for sure after my 2 week hitch on the slope. Started to snow while driving out tonight!!

Nice pics! My wife likes the one of my broken doo strapped on back of her 'old' polaris that I keep trying to get her to sell. I won't hear the end of that for a while.

Haha, ya I was confused for a change of pace! I'm not sure how far back we were. Maybe 10 miles? Not too bad once we were able to get on the trail.
Thats for sure! I pretty much wanted to give up and leave the sled when the going got tough, but these guys were having no part of it.
Good to meet ya Ridgerat and Rev Guy. Good company definitely offset the lack of snow. Thanks also for the grub and drinks. Good luck with the repair.

damn I need to ride when you guys go! I did find some good snow on Monday, but nothing like that. Ill be back to ride in couple weeks guys. Later

ya took the front sway bar and stiffened up the shocks and loosend up the limiter straps man i love that thing it rips and jumps so nice mine not so good i jumped the m7 30 feet and it landed straight up and kinda bent the back of the tunnel by the light so i jumped the rev all day it was a blast as you can see
Anybody going up this weekend?
I'll be up there early Saturday. I'll be on my 02 vertical edge 800 Red and yellow it's a 156" I'll be ridding with a couple of 02 600 skidoo's and a old red phazerII and probably a 01 arctic cat 800 Say hi if ya see me. Gonna be staying the night at the lodge.

Yeah M7162 and I both need to work on the landing part of our jumps. We both tend to "Over Do" it. But all in all a great day. Mishaps were minimal.
Me and 3 others are heading up in the morning leaving Palmer. Has anyone rode the other side of the road lately, or Heavenly Ridge?
Who is stayin @ Eureka Lodge this Saturday? We got a room and want to know if anybody from 4M will be there as well? I

Started out of Palmer, my friend forgot to lock the rear door on the enclosed trailer....Car flags us down....door wide open going down the road
Praise God, no damage
Bought food/snacks at gas station before Sutton. Was sick all day from deli sandwiches (pre-made) they sell. After eating we look at the dates...expired several days ago
Rode Eureka, behind lodge, they just groomed 17 mile loop today if your into that, we didnt ride it. Fair snow (10" of new is real, sugar underneath), lots of alders, buddy snaps his chain & case on a jump
Get back to the truck (mile past lodge on right) and ride the right side of the road. Way better snow!!!! We wished we rode here rather than bushwhack the other side...
Ride home, near Gun site, two sled dog teams on the side of the road tangled up and flipped over. We stop (icy road, no pull offs) to help. It was a mom & daughter and one of the teams was running right down the highway (straight at us) with no driver on the sled. It was totally nuts! dogs everywhere. We unloaded a sled & I went after the loose team down the road (by now a couple miles down the road) My enclosed trailer was full of dogs. One of the teams was so strong we had to use our sled to tie too just to restrain them and they were dragging the sled down the road! Took about two hours to get everything back to their dog truck...
So, If you were any of the wide eyed people driving by....that's what was going on......what a day, still better than working

A buddy and I are planning on being there. He is leaving for a month and it is my second ride of the year (been to busy killing animals). I have to say it is one of my favorite places to ride. We could mabe set a time to meet, say 10 oclock at the logde? Anyone else game, a mini 4M ride?
