Yup there is some good snow back that way ~ we were headin the direction of Red Fox area last weekend and the pow up on top was pretty good too - it was a beautiful view from where we were - Horsepasture was pretty hard and windblown, but there was snow there.
It's currently bluebird skies and about 20 degrees

There are plenty of good spots, you just have to find them, as mentioned above Red fox, alos check out Buchia Creek, Yuca, top of China wall, should all be good. There you good, good spots, just not mine

get a hold of me sometime and I will show you some of the very best areas up there...I used to put on 5000-7000 miles there a season....and I still have my trapping cabin up above the little O....

Just got my weekly report..eureka got ash north of little nelchina..I dont know how far it is east and west but a light coat is covering the nikoli trail, tyonne creek trail and a few others....

went up sat....hoursepassture was still pretty decent...a lil hard,but good.......my buddy blew his chain case and i had to tow him out...had to take the long way around monument.....logged 95 miles.......made for a long day...blue bird out and warm...when i left at 7:30pm no ash had gotten there yet...but that was at 7:30pm......
I drove past Eureka today en-route to Valdez. We had some clients who could not fly over, so I drove them this morning. Ash levels were about the same from Anchorage to Thompson Pass. The wind did pick up near Nilchena and it was blowing ash all over the place.
Eureka looked to have high overcast with the sun in and out all day today.

Any new updates on Eureka? Wondering if it is worth the drive this weekend. Curious if the sun and high temps have been melting the snow and/or causing overflow on the lakes.
