If your current sled was a 9r 155 pro what would you choose for 2nd machine? Any brand!

If I had a Polaris I’d be 100% get a second Polaris, or a second doo if first was a doo

It’s so nice to have spare a-arms, shocks, hyfax, belts etc that work on all of your sleds. I also like the ease/comfort of working on the same machine. my kids are on matryx now for the same reason.

155 khaos boost,, or a 9R khaos 146, depending upon how and where you ride. I own all 3 and each one is a completely different experience

This for sure. It’s very nice to know one brand very well.

I’ve owned them all, G4 and G5 turbo, Matryx 850, 9R and boost. Having a 9R and a Boost is the best you can do imo. I just think the matryx is easier to handle in extreme technical terrain. All my doo turbo friends have switched to the boost. The adjustable limiter strap is not as cool as it seems, most people dont ever use it and/or dont know how to. The matryx turbo will always be 30lbs lighter than the doo turbo. You can put Ti cans on both. The only thing doo has that is significant is their lighter weight e-start. I also do not want to live without buddy tracking, so Polaris is my vote.

The turbo r is running amazing, did about 55 break in miles today.
Really impressive how hard it pulls on a hill climb. But man it's harder to ride than my 9r. I'm struggling some, on a side hill in neutral riding position I can't get it up on edge very easy and it will follow gravity. The 9r just flips right up on its side. I hope I can learn to ride the doo better because I love the power plant. Smoothest cleanest running 2 stroke turbo I have ever seen. The tuning is just spot on and crisp.

Buddy just got a new 25 and got lucky like you. Bogging all day. He showed me a video and it sounded bad.
They know the fix now, did you see the thread I did? They have a new tune to fix voltage issues with the waistgate actuator.
This 2025 I have now runs awesome. I can't believe how much stronger this 2025 g5 feels compared to a g4 turbo. The brp tech said there were 2025 machines all over the world having this issue and people were replacing actuators and maybe getting one that would fall in spec with the voltage max min window but the real fix is in the new flash to loosen these parameters so the sled won't go into limp.

holy crap i tried out a sidewinder 153 with a 260hp tune the other day. Wow is all i can say, i could not believe how light it felt for as heavy as it is and it will claw and climb about through anything if you can hold on. What a shame these wont be built any longer. Felt like a very well put together machine that just works really good.
