Eureka

Eureka Sunday...

Thinking about heading up to Eureka sunday if it keeps snowing up there....It is either there or Cantwell by the sounds of it. Is it still snowing up at Eureka? Packin up now.

just got back

From a ride. It cleared up this am and it was blue bird. Total snow was 8" new. Found some deep pockets over balenger and it was awesome. Made the south lake loop breaking a trail and it was preety nice easy in the powder as some bump to hit still. Wore me out though. On a 1-10. Scale it was a 7.

I'm eureka bound tomarrow. They have new snow and really need our business and support because it's been a few tough winters for them. Gonna tear up the trails with the lady and get a eureka burger and a beer! Say hi if your up there. Black rev, yellow rev and white expediton.

Good Pulloff this time of the year

I haven't ridden up there yet, but planning on heading up early Monday morning, a few of us going hopefully. Anyone know a good turn off to park and ride from? I was thinking of going to the lodge and pickin up the trail maps for now.

I want to get into some untouched snow!!! :) Anyone else wants to go Monday (Should be a holiday for most people) let me know. Right now we have 3 people (slope workers) going and always lookin for more. I was thinking of going back by South Lake to check that out.....Late

As far as fresh snow, i think you'll have plenty of it. I dont think to many riders have been up there. We always park at the gravel pit about 2-3 miles on the left past the lodge. You can also pick up the trail at the lodge. Eureka is my favorite riding spot when the snow is good. Its wide open and only small trees. Good luck and update the thread (dont forget pics). me and my dad (revtech100) will be up there next weekend in the f-450 and toy hauler.

At gun sight, with all settled there is 2 to 2 1/2 feet. Still not much cross country available except in select areas of the passes. The brush is just starting to get knocked down. Another foot or more will make it great

Heres a pic for you Ridgerat

Had an awesome day, sure we could use some more snow, but for most of the day we were in waist deep. Burned up most of a tank and never got more than 7 or 8 miles from the lodge. Gitty up!!!:D It's :beer;30
Pic's to follow
