BOSS NOSS you Suck!!!!!!

Junk!!!!!!

I have 2 BOSS NOSS kits and both are junk. they never worked right. Sent me updates for em, didn't do chit. I would never buy another one or sell the junk ones i have. There are way more people with problems than not. Just scroll up.
 
Hey Spook your right BOSS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got screwed about two years ago on a BOSS NOSS system. Ordered it then it took them the whole season to get it to me then the SOB didn't work, dealt with them on the phone, countless times finally get box back pos doen't work right I finally gave up on it no money back either,

Then at the same time I ordered the P.O.S. BOSS NOSS I ordered a seat, and I ordered at the snow show in october. I got my seat in OCTOBER!! One week plus 52 MORE and I finally get the seat I ordered. And get this I payed cash for it. Thats what I call service, 53 weeks and 25 phone calls, sign me up for that show again.

I am done with BOSS including their seats, never had a problem but why bother their service sucks.

So I am with you spook BOSS SUCKS !!!!!!!!!! Bet that little girlie didn't count on this thread!!!!

sorry to hear about the crap you have had to deal with, its funny that they are having alot of problems with the seats too. guys on here are talking, so dont buy anything from these crooks! just keep posting because most of their business is from mountain riders i would guess, and where do us mountain riders chat, ummmm snowest?
 
Have the Boondocker sytem, works great. Never used the Boss Noss so can't comment on that. Have a Boss seat though. Comfortable as all get out. Built like crap. In addition, they tell you they won't asbord water.... that's BS. My absorbed over 10 lbs. What did Boss help me with in any of this you ask? Nothing. And that's what they will get from me forever.

Besides the Boondocker kit is pretty easy to install... no experience with Boss, but it sounds like a nitemare
 
I bought a boss nos setup for my king cat, second time i had the bottle filled the valve leaked. I have been waiting for a RMA number for 2 months now, i even paid for shipping for the new valve. waiting for randy to call me back with it, and spook says randy doesnt work there anymore now, thats great i guess its time to start making some phone calls. I would never buy anything from them again.
 
Boss sucks

Hey Spook...I hear your frustration. I had ordered two seats from them a few years ago when they were at the "snow show" and you can probably guess...after a lot of bull sh*& they never delivered..some crapola about mold problems and such. My buddy bought one of their N02 systems and it never could get dialed in..he chucked it as he couldnt get any satisfaction from them. I have three of us that will take our business to Boondocker or someone else for the rest of eternity!....sometimes it amazes me how companies like Boss can even keep their doors open..but if you think about it..how much mark up do they have on seats alone? Its frickin foam and vinyl ...mark up must be huge.

Like others have said..take them to small claims court..or check with your attourney generals consumer protection division and see if they can help at all.

Good luck..Do not give up the fight!...any Attorneys out there that could put together a quick letter for Spook "Pro Bono" would be very cool as well.
 
I was looking at buying 2 boss seats for my sleds, but seeing as so many of you guys have so many problems with boss, forget it........... I will do my part to spread the word to my friends also, right on down the line..........
Come on Boss do the right thing!
 
I have a BOSS saet and BOSS NOSS, and it sucks that they are so terrible because I love my seat! I love my nitrous too, but my bottle has always leaked a little when I first crack it open, but soon quits leaking. I haven't tried to get ahold of them, but 2 years later I probably won't. Anyone know of a different supplier of bottle valves?

Just so everyone knows I am in no way bashing on Chet!!! the guy went out of his way to try to help me. Everytime I called him he would try to do the right thing. Gus same although I did not have as much interaction with him.

I am not much of a lawsuit happy kind of guy. I used to believe in men settling it like men. Like I said I own a small business on the side I understand you can get over your head, but the bottom line is to treat everyone like you want to be treated. I get my butt chewed by my wife sometimes for giving better deals than I end up making, or going out of my way to help on warranty issues. But people will remember that, and they will ALWAYS remember when you screw them.

Money is just that Money!! I work hard for mine. and so don't most people. I have served my country as a RANGER in some of the worst environments imaginable. I know what its like to have nothing and I know what I have and how I got it. I know that I would not have my small buisness if it weren't for the people buying my product.. AND THAT MY FRIEND is ETHICS!!!!

We all get on here and banter one another, but when it comes down to helping each other out most will run to help! Of course not the one who screwed you on a sled sale. Just look at when someone looses a friend in an avalanche, most of you don't even know the person, but we all care! The poor guy who's wife and childeren were killed in a car crash. people were responding from everyplace imagineable saying they would be on his door step to lend a hand!! That is what this is about!! I got screwed and so have a lot of others, But if by having this thread saves 1 guy from the same problems My word has worked.

I thank all of you for the time you took and the support I am getting! If you ever get to Valdez I have a open door and a cold one sitting in the fridge!!! (Fosters Oil can)

More Boss BS!

I am totally NOT suprised that someone is having trouble with Boss. I had my troubles also. I hope they get what they got coming, and I believe they will. Soon as someone comes out with a better seat they will be toast! I would not purchase another product from them, and I urge others not to either! Best of luck Spook! If we all stop supporting them they will take notice!-00's
 
Nobody from the company can even sack up and respond to this...I have definately made up my mind on NOT getting the boss seat for my m1000...Anybody know of other options? if not I'll live with the stock one!!!:beer;
 
Boy am I glad I ddin't pull the trigger on the Boss Noss. I went with BD instead and have received Great Cust service from them. I will not deal with Boss until they change their ways. I just keep hearing the same story over and over. It's just sad that they treat their customers this way. Imagine the money they'd bring in if they treated us right on stuff. I've seen over 10 Grand on here alone in Bad product or lost sales. Oh well their loss.
 
Every thing mentioned above is exactly why I quit selling for them, it
was almost impossible to even get someone to answer the phone a couple
of years ago. I told them I was done as a dealer, when they asked why
I simple replied, if I made 1,000.00 per seat it wouldn't be worth the
horse sheet one has to go threw to deal with them. Much less all the crap you take from customers who want repairs you have NO control over...

I will still buy a boss seat at full retail if its sitting on the show room floor, but
I will never order another one and I feel for the poor bastage that has to service it..

Unless they get thier sheet together it will catch up, I promise someone will step up and make as nice a seat and have the sense to run a company, its just a matter of time..

Man it's a hard deal here I really like thier seats. I have owned a couple. They in my opinoin are the nicest. But the sell is the easiest part.

A monkey can do that. Heck even that Randy guy. Sorry I just picture him with the come-over plaid pants and coffee breath trying to sell me a pinto and telling me it's a cobra.

I don't think a slick lipped salesman is the answer. Neither is a attitude sporting chick!! leave your attitude with your pushup bra. I mean no dis-respect to the general female pop. just the ones that make you others look stupid!!!! BOSS you SUCK!!! YA JackA$$!!!
 
The day will come when Boss will return to customer service. That day is not far distant. How many IQ Polaris' have you seen with a Boss Seat? A boss highrise is a down right must have on an edge chassis but does very little for a sled like an IQ or a Nytro. Most riders will no longer be dropping the 500+ coins for a seat that doesnt do anything but lose 2 lbs, only the hardcore mod heads. When aftermarket companies can only produce half of the demand they get they tend to get arrogant. Boss for the last few years has been completely overwhelmed in the busy season. For every unhappy customer they have 5 others waiting and wanting a seat. I feel like that is going to change as the manufacturers seats get better and better. Gus is a great guy and so was chet, what I knew of him. The leadership at Boss needs to swallow some pride and take better care of people or someday he will find the phone not ringing.
 
I agree! You know I was involved with this deal during the summer, the fall, and the winter. For TWO seasons. I did not see any change. I would like to get a call from the Village idiot and hear what he has to say. I don't see that happening. So in the mean time I am going to learn how to type!! Sorry everyone you will probably get tired of me soon. but until then; EL JEFE USTED CHUPA!!!!!!
