What's Next

So we got the parking deal all hashed out, everyone's heartbeat is below the rev limiter.

What should we delve into next? The long term effect of Obama's $ 800 billion stimulus package or if the game is called "Duck, Duck, Gray Duck or Duck, Duck, Goose"?

Good to see we have the parking thing all hashed out!! Don't say gray duck, that could be seen as racism!! hheheh (just a joke folks) And the effect of the stimulus package for us will probably be nothing, but on our kids, good luck to them 'cause they will see the worst of it.... 16 hrs. until i'm on the mountain!! It's snowing in laramie right now!!!!

Whats with all the touchy feely crap?

Who cares if you step on some toes so long as you get your point across, some people take stuff posted online waaaaaaaaaay too serious...

You are right Supplicate, some folks do take this stuff way to seriously. I'm guilty of it too sometimes. Sometimes you do have to step on toes to get people to listen. All I can do is defend my point of view to the best of my ability. Hopefully, I'll back it with some substance and facts that support my case and not by what is just convenient. It's been a good spirited discussion and I'm sure it will continue.

I'm gonna cry.
No clutch = No riding for Ollie this weekend.

Snow should be great then right?? :)

No riding for us either - using the trailer to help my sister and husband move into their new house (they got a smoking deal on a forclosure on the other side of our neighborhood)

Have a good weekend everyone - I hope that all trucks/trailers park in perfect alignment, it snows 2 feet, no one gets ripped off, and everyone makes it home safe.

OH NO!
If I can't go, then we need an RV jack knifed and camped out across the entrance, 90 mph winds and no snow.

If I gotta be miserable, then I like to share.

Because many of us that own cabins in Albany county pay more in property taxes than you do in your home and the lot is Albany county property...

Get over yourself- You are special aren't you- You bought the property knowing ( or least maybe had an idea) that you couldnt park on your property in the winter- So why should you park in day use only lot?? It is not the public's responsibility to pay for your parking

You guy's must have less snow than we do in Calif. This has been a great read and I know that once you get good snow it's off to another subject. :beer;

Ollie Sorry to hear about your clutch.

I don't have any issue with an answer, NONE, I just don't know why the question was asked.:confused:

I do not know who you are tring to LIE to but I was up there today. The people that got there stuff robbed said there sleds were parked outside the motel. There six place trailer was parked in the lot. If this is the kind of attitude you are going to have when people ask you a question then I guess we can only guess what kind of business you run. The lot is being used by the lodge at our expence as there overflow lot because they do not have enough of there own parking. WHATS YOUR POINT

from what i seen, the answer was NONE, which means no burgers or beers. but what a concept:D my question is::: would you start selling burgers and beers at the parking lot???

:beer;Love to but no desire. I thought I answered the question but I'll try again: I did not have sex with that woman and I have never sold hamburgers or beer to people staying in the Albany Parking lot. I could care less if they are camping there. They must have me confused:confused: with someone else.

Hey clueless, what does this have to do with me??

It seems that safesnowrider made his point by simply asking the question. Albany Mountain has a vested interest in that parking lot and the people that camp in it. He makes his living from it and good for him. It's the American way but please don't think we don't know that.
The question on point was, "Do you remind folks it is not a camping area?" I don't think you do. You are in a tough position. You have to play both sides of the fence. I've always enjoyed doing business there and will continue for now(no reason not to). I've been going since I was a kid and it was a little cabin looking shack but I don't kid myself about where you stand on camping in that parking lot. Please don't you try to kid me either. Answering fair questions with a "what's your point” and being a wise *** just seems to sidestep the issue and for you that may equate to bad business. It made me raise an eyebrow. You should care if they camp there. If you don’t, it makes you appear to be part of the problem. Good luck. You are in a unique position.
