A little comparison.. Boosted Viper vs Boosted PRO

You guys have taken it there, I have to admit. Must be getting a little twisted up over there over this topic, you took my sliver on anonymity away from me mr. Big bad moderator. You're making this sound like you're trying to survive the holocaust.

I have ridden back to back. Both equipped with turbos. At the end of the day we are all friends and love the mountains. Just remember, if we were all together looking for a missing riding buddy we would not be having this pissing match. Enjoy what you ride and have fun b/c some day it will come to an end.

Oh my, on one post buried deep in the Cat classifieds, right where the World comes to converse. You sure are frantically digging for something to use against me. I beg your pardon, oh sultan of all thinks snowmobile related in the digital format. I did not realize that due to my courteous business practices I left my name on a classifieds post.

**Cue people fabricating reasons that I'm not a courteous business man.**

AMEN!!!!!!

The Lord speaketh, and it was good. And on the second day, he took a rib from the Arctic Cats side and created Yamaha.

Very fun sled for the more aggressive riders. The sled has lots of torque so hold on for a fun ride. I can pic and hold to most technical side hills but there is more of a confidence level involved when I'm on the viper compared to when I'm on my T-3, it is full commitment when on the viper as on the t-3 there is more forgivness and room to slow down and pick the line choices. the Viper needs more momentum and your decision making and reaction time needs to be quicker but when your on your game and everything is flowing its all good and your smile is as big when riding the t-3. You will know you have ridding a heavier sled at the end of the day for sure, but I like the challange and mind set for pushing the limits on this sled as i have almost 1000 miles on it this season at 9 lbs boost compared to 250 miles on the T-3 impulse at 5 lbs boost......I do like riding this sled more than my turbo pro unless the snow conditions are very low then my choice is the pro due to it is easier to tip it on its side but with 6 inches or more snow the yamaha is as easy with the same technique. After riding the yamaha i have to say the pro is my last choice to ride because of the amount of torque the polaris puts out which isn't much compared to the Viper or even compared to the T-3 for that matter...... Do not even get me started on the oil issue that this sled had from day one and the denial from mpi and yamaha on the issue!!!! This seems to be resolved at this point but only have a little over a 100 miles on the latest fix so far. The sled does need a rollover valve kit installed on it and should come with one from factory next year if Yamaha cares anything about the mountain riders!!!! This is only my opinion on this sled I am not brand loyal as I own 1 one each... Anybody is more than welcome to come join us on a ride to see how any of these sleds run in comparison to each other.

above is my review on the viper and I'm not a sponsored rider and now I'm joining in on the fun of this thread:face-icon-small-ton i own all brands of sleds this year and i will be happy to ride with you and show you that they all can be pushed beyond there limits and that we pay way to much money for them... i will follow you anywhere you go on any one of these sleds and when your too tired to keep going i will just be getting started then i will take these sleds to there limits until they cry uncle..... you will say how the hell is he doing that on that piece of **** yamaha and i will just smile and keep the throttle pinned baby!!!! so please bring your little polaris out and please show me some where i can't take the yamaha I'm begging you :face-icon-small-coo

Hey would you look at those sleds! You must have had a heck of a good time!!!!

This thread is Awesome. So is Coyote Girl for posting.
This thread was about her opinion on Boosted sleds not stock sleds.
This is her views on the two sleds. With her skills, I take her views seriously, not because she's a keyboard fanatic with lots of B.S., cause of her riding skills.
If ya don't like it, don't whine and cry that your brand is best.
I didn't come on here to here all the negativity of the viper or pro. Their both are great sleds , but to slam anyone who has a comment.
Come on grow up. Everyone is entitled to an opinion sponsored or not.

I have to admit that the path of this thread has me floored, that this could be taken oh so wrong and go oh so sideways. Reminds me of why I disappeared off of these forums for so long. Some of you have no manners! I'd imagine your mom's would blush if she could read your posts.

Yes, I am sponsored by Yamaha. But if I didn't enjoy this sled, I would give it back. I have a backbone and am not afraid to use it. Am I saying it is better than a PRO? jeesh people..... What I'm saying is give it a shot! It's a fun sled. People seem so scared of it... and most of you haven't even seen one much less ridden one! LOL So, you can get all sideways at me for sharing my opinions on this sled, or you can take it for what it is. MY opinion. I don't read where I said GO OUT AND BUY a YAMI because I said so. Quoting myself "Take this for what it is worth... a 2 stroke can wear you out too."

MY honest assessment of this sled is it makes me giggle, allot. It makes my hands shake in a way that I haven't felt in a long time. I like it, I'm going to continue to post positive things about it. I hope some of you will follow along, ask questions and if I'm ever around you that you'll ask to ride it. You might giggle too!
