Pro vs Axys Suspension

Hi,

I was out for the first ride of the year last weekend and stabbed my track on my 2013 Pro 163.. Also the rails are cut and have an anti-stab kit that came apart and contributed to the problem..
It’s hard to find a 163 track for a Pro here in BC but lots of 155 tracks out there..
I found a 163 track, rails and drivers off a 2019 Axys for a decent price…
Will these fit a 2013 Pro or are the mounting points and geometry too different to work??
Being that we get pretty limited riding days now; I’d like to put it back closer to stock to make it more bullet proof..
Any input would be appreciated before I decide to pull the trigger on it on not..

Thanks,

Ditch1000!

mounting points / geometry for non-khaos Axys and Pro are the same, they will bolt up, length of track is the same if it is a series 7 2.86 pitch then the drivers would be the same too... antistab is not worth having unless geometry is changed from stock (i.e. factory tracks and rails won't stab on stock Pro and Axys non-khaos).

Looking at your signature, you might have a 3" pitch track, in which case you would have to switch drivers to 2.86 unless the setup you are looking at is also a 3" pitch track...

Yeah, it comes with the stock drivers and drive shaft as well.
Bascially I would be putting it back to stock as long as the rails would work.
Which from what you are saying; they will work.

They changed some geometry around with the scissors and shocks, I don't recall but one of the track shocks from Axys will fit Pro and one won't, I know the rails interchange as the distance between the front and rear mount points on the rails is identical, had them side by side on a 163 set... the top mounts you could throw a tape measure on to be sure but I am sure someone on here has done this at some point... might just take some more google searches with "site:www.snowest.com" appended to get you the right thread since the search in the forums itself does not work so well...

Axys rails will work with pro rmk shocks and scissors. Some of the bolts are larger on the pro rmk parts and you'll have to drill the holes large in the rails to fit the larger diameter bolts.

Thats awesome!! I’m think I’m gonna grab it; all my scissors, shocks and arms are good so it’ll get me away from those trimmed rails..
These days I only get 5 or 6 riding days a year and I dont want them being ruined on an aftermarket set up that goes sideways like last weekend..

Man, I guess this just isn't the year for orange '12 Pros! I'm doing pistons again (and hoping my cylinders hold up), and you're having to do the track and rails. I think we've got the same basic sled with similar mods. The snow and sled gods must be angry...

LOL! That was my old sled; it was a beast!! The guy I sold it to has it for sale now; I was tempted to buy it back..
It’s a 2012 and it had the RK TEK Drop it kit put in it; its had the reeds replaced and other than that has ran like a champ.. Best sled I ever owned!!

I ended up pulling the trigger on the Axys Track, rails and drivers..
Gonna get this sleds suspension stock and not have to worry about a stabbed track again..

What boards are on the orange sled? Looking to upgrade mine on my 2015 rmk.

I finally finished installing the Axys suspension on my 2013 Pro. The front and back torque arms were different part numbers, so I swapped the torque arms off the Pro suspension to the Axys suspension. The rear bottom scissor was the same part number; so I left the Axys scissor on. Other than that I had to drill bigger holes for my scratchers and that was it. It worked out pretty good and is way better than I had before!
