427 hp 1200 4tec (on day one)

I did work at a dealership BEFORE SW was even around...did plenty to help fellow POO/DOO riders through the 90's......in 2001 SW was a fledgling forum (that people gave out some bad info)....I gave people FREE info and FREE clutch kits and FREE set ups to make a name for myself for over a YEAR...and I give out FREE info even TODAY...

What have I done??? Thats not even worth answering...

matty- I NEVER said I knew more than MCX...the "trail kit" I plan on running is from Justin Fuller (Full Power)...since he had the VERY first turbo RX1 (Sept. 2002, BENDER Racing) and since his kits didnt burn sleds to ground (not gonna mention any names)..I'm not worried about the kit I will be running/selling...

As for dyno sheets??? its called DTR...maybe YOU should become a member??

I wonder why the guys who KNOW about turbos hit this thread early..gave a simple "gratis" comment and havent been back (had plenty of PM's from them...)...BUT the keyboard racers cant help themselfs...hmmmm-BJ

ONE more time for guys who read one post and make a blanket statement...

I posted because...

A) its a NEW motor that makes big power
B) its summer and its slow
C) to have a little fun
D) all the above

It never ceases to amaze me...

1) how someone can pull one word out of context and make a new post about...

2) how someone who OBVIOUSLY doesnt know there history about turbo suppliers makes a blanket statement...archive "RX-1 fires" in 2003...

3) how someone can count to 275 (you can add about 5000 to that since day one)....btw if took the 5 off the end you would be closer...

4) If I give OT a shot...its only for him..."WE" have had a friendly battle since day one...BTW- is it STILL true an 8 heat range spark plug fires in the cold better than a 9???

5) OT..I have done a couple turbo sleds...the first one was a 670 in 1996/1997...what were you doing in 1996?? BTW...July + 6 months = December....thats about right...sharper than the average stick I always said...

6) Its obvious a little competion from DOO is upsetting the apple cart..

What makes you think anything you have read here is fact? Im willing to bet when Joe Friday said "just the facts" he wasnt talking about something he read on Snowest. Of course BJs so called facts aren't recieved too well in these parts, Its in a YAMAHA forum. I for one could care less how skidoo's turbo 4tec performs. But if i did i would look for the results in a Skidoo forum, not here. But I will say that this train wreck of a thread is hard not to click on, so BJ if that was your goal.......... good job.

Once you weed through the Fact and BS, every experianced turbo guy knows full well that 427HP from a "bone stock" 4tec is BS.

FYI, the same BS can be read on the SW skidoo thread as well were BJ has stummbled and fummbled is way through as well.... Kinda of strange you don't see BJ ranting nonsense on DooSqwauk.com LOL

well, we all saw what happened when Dynotech dyno'd Bikemans 1000cc Cat motors...no porting and 240hp..LMFAO...all cat guys where in heaven by then....

who honestly cares about how much hp lets wait and see in winter time.... i honestly believe yamaha will beat skidoo next year because they have so many years into turboing them now and got them figured out this new skidoo will be a hole new ball game for turbo builders....
