Here is the one from Thursday... Three days riding and two Avalanche rides....

Two avalanche rides in three days! You the man, you should have headed straight to the casino because you are lucky :face-icon-small-hap

We have climbed those same hills for years and never seen it slide. Maybe we have been the lucky ones.

Lol.... I been riding those Hills For years too. Even before I got the nuts to try it I watched guys ride that hill and I NEVER EVER saw a slide there. Oh well, according to some of the posts I need to be better at looking into the future....:what::what:

Thanks for the update Dan. We are coming out this weekend and should roll into Ten Mile on Sunday around noon. I hope this years January trip turns out like last years where we arrived with Hero Snow (a lot less last year) and it snowed every day we were there for an incredible trip.

Ya we all wear beacons, avy packs, probes, etc. We slid the same hill 2 weeks before also. when ya ride with chad. Usually good for 1 slide a trip. sorry Just how he rolls. Planning on a trip next weekend but not if they dont get a good shot 1st

Went up today and even deep in the trees is set up, we were getting spoiled with that last run of snow. Good weekend to tie up loose ends at home, or explore creek beds...

We rode yesterday and as others have mentioned this snow is badly needed - I hope it keeps up. We did find some pockets of OK snow, but they were small and pretty far off the beaten path (in the thick trees and some creek beds rstibi :) ) The rest of the snow was very set up and/or windblown.

Regardless - we had a good time, laughed a lot, and took some routes through the trees that we usually don't ride until later in the season.

If everything pans out that is in the forecast, next weekend should be about 1000% better than this last one.

Good news, it snowed, evidently Assault-7c brings it with him from Illinois or shelbwyo's truck washing worked. I'm guessing new was in the 10" range around Silver Lake then gradually dropping off to about 6ish inches up to Sand Lake. Sounds like more coming mid to late week, let 'er snow!

Got all that & more on the west side.
knee deep in the parking lot Monday morning & it continued to snow all day!
Tried the Madres today & not much fresh there....didn't bother unloading, went back to the Snowies & had another great day.
