2013/14 Big Horns N/S Snow Conditions

That what I'm talking about!!!

Look at US!!! Giving good information on the thread that we ruined!!!

What can I say, between the complainin in this thread, and mods deleting my posts in another thread, my spirit has been broken and I am fallin in line.

Wait, so it is the 16th of November? So I can go off the trail at 12:00am or do I have to wait until 8:00am or 12:00pm??

There is something to report, I went over the top of the bighorns Tuesday and the snow is melting. Between Bear Lodge and hunt mountain road there are bare hillsides on all the south facing slopes. Along the Tongue river there is maybe 6 inches of snow. The most snow is between bald mountain and hunt mountain road, and the snow is hard and about 12 to 18 inches it looks like to me except were it as drifted. Snow better come soon or sledding might really suck this year.

Conditions

There have been just skiffs of snow here over the last couple of days.

We have our fingers crossed that the 4-6" predicted for Sat. night into Sunday will actually happen.

5 riders have stopped by and report the riding is OK. Some drifts of powder, nothing spectacular. We are establishing a good base though.

Wish the news was better for you!

Well I actually have some useful information that I will share because that's what this thread was started for. Highway 14a will be closing on Monday for the winter so bear lodge is as far as you can go on 14a.
