Is it really that hard to reply to an email, cmon give me a break. I have over 80 accounts that I take care of in my job. I return emails and phone calls all day long. You were quick to jump all over the new management at WHC before anyone really knew anything about them, yet people cant talk about bad experiences at your favored lodges???
In your situation, yes I think that was wrong and bad for there business. Did you contact Rick about this incident or about the webcam thing?
This is just FYI. They do not have a webcam. Roberta takes a picture out of the window and posts it to the webpage.
Sorry I meant on bear Lodges website. (its says the same thing though) But its not.

They are bad for their own business, and last time I checked this is still America and opinions and experiences can still be voiced.
Sorry I was thinking in my head about the manager telling him to not dress or park in certain spots.
There is no reason EVER to defend the laziness or the degradation of a business. No matter the friendships involved. As a friend of Rick and his wife, Wysteph, you probably have more verbal Influence on them than any of us do. I would defend him of he was my friend as well. But I also would be the first guy To call him and tell him what the "word" is about there lodge. I like to see me friends succeed and have a good reputation. That's why I would be the first to tell him when service was going down the shatter.

Lesson of this b&*ch session is simple, provide good service and people will talk about your good service. Provide $hitty service and people will talk about the $hitty service you provided. It doesn't matter the venue, whether I get on the phone and call all the snowmobilers I know and tell them about the $hitty service I received, or I decide to get on Snowest and share my experience with my fellow Snowesters, it is my right to do so either way. Simple steps could have been taken to provide better experiences of which I would have posted about. When we asked about gearing up in the restaurant the manager could have said, hell yes it's damn cold out there!! Could I get you guys a cup of coffee on the house before you head out?? Do you have any idea what a simple gesture like that would have done for their business when I told that story on Snowest?? Trust me, I know customer service, my paycheck depends on it!!!
They don't care about repeat business been that way for some time. Go to trip advisor and look them up lots of bad reviews. They have a monopoly and there is lots of new customers every year. If your not in the click to bad for you. Many other great places to ride anyway bighorns are just stepping stone on the way to real mts anyway. I agree with this forum being great place to make your own opinion. I doubt things will change.

Last Time i checked this thread is about the snow conditions of the big horns. Not a thread about bitching and moaning about the lodges in the North Horns. If you want to know the snow conditions look at the snotel or better yet drive up and go riding. Its early december, not very hard to figure out that there is minimal snow with no base. There you go, theres the snow report youve been looking for.

I love it when people like this come along thinking they own this forum and can tell people what to post in it and where.
