Heading to Arrowhead lodge this weekend from MN. any must hit areas, best direction to head. Been a while since last stay.

totals around lodge

Corey, what's the total snowfall so far this week?

39 inches at our lodge...some areas got more..looks like it was a upslope snowfall. Winds were bad yesterday and suppose to be bad today before the sun comes out in earnest and winds die down.

Corey

Heading down there Wednesday for the week! Looks like we might be able to find a bit of snow!!

I'm planning to come out feb 8/9.
My 860 BB Xp will be there and is for sale in the classifieds, click here: 860 xp for sale

If anyone is interested in sled, pm me and we'll meet up so you can take it for a spin. This sled will not disappoint you, and you can buy this one already set up for thousands less than you could build it...

Wow!!! What a difference a week makes! Absolutely awesome N NE of Bear Lodge. Set out this morning with the intention of riding around to High Country, playing on the way. Never made it there. Too many good spots to play in that were barely touched when we hit them, over the hood in lottsa places. Still no bottom and digging down to the sage brush, but at least most all of the sagebrush is finally covered. Still need to be wary of hidden treasures if you know what I mean. But had an absolute blast today. It appears the snow stayed north, we headed south from Bear after lunch ended up playing a little south of Owen Creek parking lot, and not nearly as much snow that direction. Thanks to HCRider800 aka Trevor for taking me along!!!!!

Hey Corey, I know who gave you a ride the other day. My dad called the other day to rub in how good the snow was and mentioned that he picked up a stray, lol.

Super jealous, I think that half of Minnesota was headed up this morning at 5. (while I was headed to work. :face-icon-small-dis)

Mt SummitX,
how far north did u have to go. we are leaving for there in another hour. Can't wait to get there, but not looking forward to the 10 hour drive tonite :(

Hey, I have a sled in Loveland that I would pay someones gas to haul up if anyone is headed to the horns from colorado....

Stumpjumper, mtsummitx and i didnt have to go far to find extremely good snow. Having said that, there were a ton of people after us. :( so the snow that was close to the lodge is pretty beat up now, but im sure if you go closer to the lovell side (in the weather ball area) you will find some more incredible snow. You might have to hunt a little more than preferred but when you find it, it will be great!!!

The snow was awesome today you didn't have to hunt at all deep everywhere. Perfect day 30 degrees sun shining snow everywhere and didn't run into very many people doesn't get much better than that. The snow set up quite a bit just even today but is still great. We spent most of our time north and west of high country we didn't cover that much ground but didn't need to too much fun everywhere, and lots of getting stuck which is part of the fun of the game.
