2011/12 Big Horns North/South snow conditions

According to snotel is snowed like 6 inches yesterday, then just checked the weather says up to 20 inches by sunday. Might be worth a ride if it dumps that much. I would call bear and see how much they get before i go up though. Now i just need to find a sway bar for the sled since it decided to just snap last time i rode.

Anyone go riding last weekend! I wanna go up this weekend, but not sure how the snow would be?

Thanks,
Ryan

Thought about it but just a few days ago bear looked like summer with bare ground. Called up there yesterday and Rick told me that high country had 3 feet while bear only had 6 inches. Kind of sounds like it would be a fall type of ride.

couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it in the general section! If it keeps snowing I might come up next monday. Its doubtful that the snow will continue but goodness I'd love to ride one last time!

I was up today to check out the clearing of 14a. Still quite a bit of snow up top around observation point. We were clearing off about 8-10' on the highway right before sheep mountain road. Also snowed on us for a bit today as well. Chance of precipitation rest of the week. Sunday suppose to be a high chance of snow.

No snow at Bearlodge we were worried then we noticed the gate was open. We got to the second hill past Fiberglass hill and parked at the road closed sign. Good snow really heavy and wet. Up at Bald Mountain deep snow not as wet 8' feet of snow on highway found nice place to jump the road. Went to High Country supprised it was open and we all forgot are money. Good day Tuesday
