Thread Rating

From RON
Since this is a snow report thread, McCall received about 4in of snow in town today. It snowed all day with more expected tonight. The mountains are to receive up to a foot of new snow. The weather currently is foggy with limited visability, but is ridable. Snow is expected throughout the weekend with varying degrees of intensity.:D

Thanks for the update on the snow there Desperado, heading that way either tonight or very early in the morning. Waitting on the turbo to get finish.:D

snow coming

the weather service is now saying "up to 14 inches above 4500 feet tonight and tomorrow. gonna be a good one. Happy New Year.

Just heading out snowed hard all night " about 8" in town since last night. still coming down hard right now! Wa Who!

OMG for the lack of snow everyone was getting STUCK! Seriuosly! Snowed the whole time we were out there along with poor visiablity. I hope tomorrow that we can get to some meadow so everyone can at least do something other than get stuck. Man I'm tired... and I didn't even help, lol...

yesterday was nice day of riding first ones on the new snow going up to goose lake. coming back holy bumpy ride.

Snow was good for the last two weeks! :D They need to groom very badly, the road sucked.

Snow is great off trail! Still a little sparse low but good coverage up high. Snowing pretty good right now too.

snow is DEEP in some spots, i was standing up to my neck in a couple of my trenches, got stuck alot.

it is still fluffy and deep. its getting tracked up but good snow.

Man, let me know where you were at. We rode from the Brundage lot out to fisher creek saddle, up over duck lake, back to goose and then back to brundage.

We did find some untracked stuff but had to search for it.

As for the snow. Reminded me of riding in April without the base.

Unless they get some more snow I won't waste my time in these areas.

On the positive side. The forecast is for wet weather for the next 2-3 days. So their is a chance to get some good snow out of this. They have one heck of a base started down in McCall. But we really need 3-5 more feet to make it really, in my mind, good riding.

Fun day but... Need more snow.

Yep, lots of tracks. And like I said you could find a few pockets that know one gets into. But for the most part without some snow it will be a VERY short season.
