Wilderness poachers?

Fo show. Too much to loose to defend these dirtbags by not outing them

Yes it is the Ingalls side

narcs are as bad as poachers in my opinion

I climbed/skied Mt Stuart on Sunday (via snomo access from Long's Pass), and could clearly see their handy work in Headlight Basin and on the wilderness side of Iron Peak. These were expert riders, who clearly knew where they were going.

It's not "narcing" when you discipline your own kin. Time for some spankings!

Narcs? I don't see where anyone tried to turn these guys in. We are calling them out for being selfish d-bags. There is a push to get this area designated as non-motorized. These guys are repeat poachers who are giving free ammo to the other side.

Last I checked this is and always has been non motorized, you better check your maps out again.

Maybe you are making a blanket statement about this whole area, specifically the area to the south, and to the east?

Regardless, you're right, having dipchits like this knowingly ride in the wilderness area bordering the zone that WMC is pushing to get non-motorized doesn't help reputation or cause.

PLEASE check YOUR maps kartorium!

we are all pretty sure that between the base of stewert and ANY OTHER RIDGE IS WILDERNESS it could not be much easier.

the area near iron to the east is non motorized. but these guys never went near there. where it would have been "legal"

We are very confident with the boundaries, as have been working with the f.s. on this for quite a while.

hope you are not casting doubt as to how obvious the wilderness is in that area.

It's all good. I think we're all saying the same thing. Yes, I was referring to the non-wilderness portions of the Teanaway that we are in danger of losing.

I'm pretty sure I recognize some of those rigs but they're def. not expert riders by any means. This sucks were they parked at Teanaway or up blewitt?

Your opinion is going mean squat as we sit on the couch all winter due to the areas getting shut down.....so really your opinion means nothing unless that's your choice. I don't care who it is....break the law and increase the chance of taking my sport of choice away from myself and my kids and I'll let you call me any name in the book as I do my best to have the book thrown at you so you can't afford to go have the chance to ruin it for everyone else.

These guys are just doing what we will all have to do in 5 years. The other side isn't going to stop whether we self police or not. They want it all locked up. It's not worth it to me to ride the wilderness yet and pay fines and not be able to get government jobs but I can tell you right now if we get locked out of 1 more favorite riding area we will be taking all of them back and seeing if they can catch us.

Sure they want it locked up...and we give them ammo to do it. We can't let the efforts of SAWS, BRC, WSSA and many other groups go to waste because we ride past tons of untouched play area to hit wilderness deliberately. As we debate the stewardship of sledders in the forest, examples like this reduce our statements to nothing. We can worry about having to break the law when it's time, but not yet, the area is open and there is plenty of it in this particular area, no need to go right thru the middle to the off limits stuff. Look back at the WMC posts and see the legal areas he's trying to get restricted and bam, this is right in the middle of it...more evidence for his position. These guys are just lame and need to be aware the damage they are causing by breaking the law in this area.

Hmm, well, apparently you had trouble understanding my comment.

Newtrout didn't though. :)

We are on the same page for sure, the way newtrout's original post read it made it sound (or could be read as by some) like the area in question is legal riding area. Hence why I followed up my original statement with a question that might bring some clarification.
