Let's be sure to not get off track on the purpose for this thread. Peer pressure, WMC, I can appreciate you chiming in on this, but please establish a new thread or edit your response if this moves away from or in to a discussion of your groups mission. Admin, can you watch this and create a new thread if that starts?

Thanks newtrout, Yammadog, Blindman, and all here trying to solve this problem. You guys also put in work on the Wilderness Boundary placing signs last summer, thanks for that. That is the message. Other background was to help folks understand. Keep up the good work! :high5:

1. These people obviously don't give 2 ****s about what other riders think. Regardless of what action we take, they will continue about their own ways with whatever they think is a great idea at the time. (Obviously because shown some of them are SAWS, etc. members+reading what we are writing at this very moment).

2. Getting the FS and Sheriff's involved is going to do a slight amount of damage on influencing areas getting closed off faster (IMO) The reasons from what I've been told (WSP) that these area's are in more of a risk being closed is because the people that are doing it, KNOW they can get away with it and not have any recourse.

3. By the information I've received, the FS and Sheriff's are requesting any type of snow travelers to do what they can to report this information in any way possible, visible, photographic, video, whatever it is, they are using it for better than nothing, and noone takes advantage of this, by that meaning from the facts I've received less than 2% of the snow community does anything about poaching in any which way direction (There are places Skiers and Snowshoer's shouldnt go to too).

Cliffs: Anything is better than nothing. Report douchebags in areas they shouldn't be, your emails nor not using them for a real estate agent is not going to keep your area from being closed.

:focus:

Is there any more interest in talking about the topic at hand or have we completed our loathing of the wilderness runners?

Another discussion dragged sideways. :face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-sad

Regardless of everyone's feelings about the topic and a few inconveniences with the forum setup, we SHOULD all agree that riding in closed areas is a damaging act to all of us and should be discouraged at all costs.

Please remember that every illegal act you do on the mountain makes ALL OF US look bad!!! Treat the outdoors with respect so that we can all enjoy what we do still have for years to come, PLEASE!

I've done some clean-up in here, there is no reason to be off-topic, rude, and insult each other.
