whyyyyy is snowest so slow lately? (502/504 Gateway Errors)

It's getting worse as the night goes on. I'm choked...there's finally a night where I see some cool threads and nada.....

Like this one, I can only see what's on the 4th page(4th page to me) because I replied again. Otherwise still getting the 502. And pretty much everything in the OEM sections is throwing me the error too. Whether I've opened them before or not.

What is really sad is if we ALL were able to post EVERY time we had an Issue with this site in the last couple of weeks. The post count would be SO HIGH the MAX POST posts would seem like just another thread.

It makes one think they did this SHI7 on purpose just to artificially inflate their hit counts for marketing / sales reasons. We are all just pawns in their game, and I for one am very tired of it. Their patch may have helped some, but it is still nowhere near right!

On a side note, in my experience: There is very little INTELLIGENCE working in MOST "Information Technology Departments". FWIW

No errors for me in awhile, some threads slower than others but not out of the norm.

ANYTIME YOU SEE A DELAY OF MORE THEN 5 Seconds to load a page.

RELOAD THE PAGE and see if it comes RIGHT UP.

"Most" of the time that solves the problem for me.

Just ran head first into the 504 Gateway Time Out at 9:34 while trying to load the forum page Google Chrome

Normally I was getting the 504 pretty regularly, a refresh would usually fix it. Just got the 502 for the first time though if that's relevant. Chrome.

2nd Code Fix just implemented.
Lets see if this one gets us a little closer on the speed issues.

Its been VERY SLOW for me also....and its the only web site on the web that's slow for me.

Definitely better today, but running into this on every second thread with more than one page. So far the threads that are all single pages seem to work for me. I have the 50 posts per page setting.

Is this how I get my post count up to get free memberships? Personally, anyone with over 10,000 posts should be banned. Cuz they aren't bringing anything of substance to the forum. But instead of complain I'll just keep posting away

If only you could feel the frustration I'm dealing with everytime I see that dumb error. The only way I can see the last page of several threads is because I reply to the thread. Then it loads the last page. Like this one for example.
