whyyyyy is snowest so slow lately? (502/504 Gateway Errors)

For my home computer, I have had no issues. But Tappatalk has been a real mess lately.
 
if you read my post earlier about "timing out more often when i have not been on the pc for a few hours".....watch this

1. open the email, click the link
2. i never got the gateway error. maybe i didnt wait long enough, but it seemed to take longer than before.
3. close out the window
4. click on the link in the email again and it opens right up.

This is happening on a regular basis tonite for me. When it happened before the past few days) I would reload the page and no problems. Now, no such luck.

This is exactly what my computer and android browsers have been doing for a long time (at least a month). Firefox browser with adblocker plus on both. IE and chrome seemed a little faster, but still slow

I've never seen any of the bad gateway error messages displayed. Only kicked out due to server not communicating

I was going to say that for the last hour or so I have noticed that everything is working a LOT faster, but when I tried to preview this post I ran into the same thing. took almost a minute to load up the preview. While I was waiting, I opened snowest in a new tab and it opened instantly. also, reloaded the preview and it was nearly instant the second time.

Clearly the first fix did NOT completely resolve the issue.

We still have a MIXED bag of reports from our members.
Some see the errors, others do not.

TOO MUCH Randomness.

We are still chasing this thing down!!

just make sure you dont have any hot **** sites open in your other browser tabs :pound:

So friggin weird. EXACT opposite here. On the computer it's terrible, but tapatalk is just fine.

That's how it is for me too. PC can't access crap. Tapatalk is fine. Although I was able to open a few threads that I had previously read... I tried marking the whole Washington thread as read, but I wasn't able to trick it into opening any new threads I had simply marked as read, only the older ones I had actually read like before the server change...
