Ideally we would like to see everyone in GREEN.
But we know that not everyone has HIGH SPEED internet at their location.

Here is whats bugging us right now.
I have a 50MB/s line into my office off site from Harris Publishihg.
And we have a 50Mb/s Fiber Optic line into our servers at Harris from our ISP in Idaho Falls.

I can get from my office in Rigby Idaho to our ISP in Idaho Falls
22.5Mb/s Down

But when I run the speed test as an outside user, just like you, I am only getting
5.66 Mbps Download
That is a 75% loss!


There is still some HUGE BOTTLE NECK that is slowing things down that we have not yet resolved, and we are starting to think it might be the ISP in Idaho Falls..

SO seriously, it does not seem to be affecting me near as bad as others, is that because I am used to my slow as molasses internet, or because for some reason my slower connection is not "asking as much" of the system so things aren't locking up as bad for me?

You have a couple of Idahos up there, one at 3.6 with Frontier and one at 8.3with Cableone. I have had both here in Idaho, Cableone claims 10 and delivers close to that, Frontier claims 3. So those seem on track, in addition to mine of 3.X (unless that one is me), so is it another issue possibly, not speed but a glitch or something locking us up that has nothing to do with speed?

chris, i have not had trouble in the past 6 hours with the site. even if i am at idle for a long time, then come back to the pc and click a link from an instant notification in my email (i was having trouble with that before).
