hotels..
last year we stayed at canoe mountain lodge and love the location of it being able to walk to a couple of restaurants/lounges is there anymore hotels on this same street? we will probably end up at canoe mountain again.. but if theres some other places on the same street where we can walk easily i may be interested.

challet continental right across from the old canoe.
nice tvs, big rooms, good rates, aweoms hottubs. great service

Chappell today was great. About 30cm of fresh and sunshine. The trail in was in excellent shape with about 15cm on it, made for a fun ride. It was ridden, but lots of lines left out there. The trail was in great shape coming out as well. Please remember this is a wildlife sensitive area and review the map in the parking lot,
Folks said Clemina has good snow as well, did not hear about allan

It was an awesome weekend of riding. The weather behaved most of the weekend
Chappell had great snow friday but started to get tracked up
Allan has excellent snow in the back end, but the front has been ridden pretty hard. Tonnes of lines left in Superbowl and beyond
Surprisingly Clemina had the best snow of the weekend, even on sunday. The area seemed to receive the most fresh from the recent snowfall. LOTs of riding left in this area and the tree riding is AMAZING
I may throw up some more pics tonight, but dont have access right now.

First of all kudos to Varda
I was very happy with the addition of the trail loop
around the cabin & the path up thru the trees to the alpine
Grooming job was awesome
Next I have pics from Sunday
We were surprised at how much snow fell on the weekend at clemina
versus the allan/oasis area across the road
You know the snow is good when you get stuck ...once
For others in our group.... they got stuck more often

Rode clemina saturday and allan on sunday...allan was pooched in the front, visibility was poor until you got passed the wall and in view of superbowl, deep and untouched snow left out there when we were done. Surprised to see only a handful of rigs in the lot, might have had something to do with the clouds, glad we went anyways. As always willow burl was great, best sleep ive had in months.
Hi all... I'm planning on bringing the wife and kids with me for one trip this year, thinking Valemount in late March, just wondering if they can ride from or around any of the hotels? It seems to me that Twin Peaks (??I think??) has some trails right by it that would be suitable for them.... Any ideas? Thanks!
