So we are about 2 weeks out from hearing from Poo on the new model season am i right? Funny they haven't been hyping the release up like last year. Has anyone seen anything from Polaris yet? There keeping pretty quiet I think.

Ha! I tried to get this post started once already! It's awfully quiet out there, nothing to talk about evidently. I'm betting nothing new from Poo this year - I keep hearing it's just BNG for '14 and you know what? I'm ok with that. Refine what they got, add some power and reliability and you have a world beater!

Oh, oops, it already is! :D

I am guessing just a little refinement this yr,if they can fix the belt drive and shaft issues they will have a reliable sled that is still very competitive. Hard to complain about that.

You will see refinements on the driveline, possibly a difference of a pound or two, some paint here and there on the Rmks

Big changes will be to the rest of the fleet as they get some of the tech of the Rmks. Ie drive system

I've seen things that most people on snowest won't care about.

a local dealer here says Polaris has plans for '14 that "is gonna change snowmobiling" we'll see soon enough I guess

I don't see anything big coming other than addressing the issues the 13s had, otherwise the marketing machine would be going full bore already.

Maybe they are on a different approach this year. Wait till every manu releases their lineup and then BAM! Its the quite ones you need to worry about :face-icon-small-win

Dang straight...it's those quiet, pastors daughter ones that you have to worry about...they always end up being the naughty ones:face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-ton

Oh goodness I am going to he double hockey sticks!!!

Ha! That just sounds like alot of wishful thinking right there!
C'mon March 4th!

Meanwhile Grand Mesa in western Colorado is getting hammered again! Guess I'll take my '12 and go ride and quit wishing for '14 already!:cheer2:

I'll be keeping my 12' for another year if all it is is bng's. who knows I might wait till 2016 if they come out with something new for 2015. I don't want to be a guinea pig for polaris considering their track record for first year sleds. Time will tell though!

I think they do small refinements and hold pat for another year before they start working on more power. It would be interesting if Doo does this 1000cc/190hp I keep hearing about. I would imagine that Poo can't sit back and watch.

Maybe the next Poo motor is going to be DI. They have a couple years, just need to spend time on development and testing to get something quality out there.

Mmm? Perhaps a tunnel constructed in Mexico by the lowest bidder, made entirely of carbon fiber, glue and of course, lots of clamps. At least it won't have the lucky number "13", associated with it. Which lived up to it's unlucky reputation.

carbon chassis

I would ride the **** out of a carbon chassis built by the lowest bidder!!!!! Thats what insurance is for. Hahahaha
