OVS states many times that Shains kit is not the same as theirs. Brad admits that he cant build 2 stroke kits due to a non-compete with boondocker. Cant count the posts thanking Shain for his help in one way or another.

I think the problem is OVS and Brad just figure that Shain should stand in the shadows and Shain wanted to build his own kits the way he wanted them done using parts that he was familiar with. My take was that OVS and Brad got their ego's hurt a little when Shain decided to leave the nest. Anyways, just my perspective!!

Sell your sled and buy a clue man, everyone copies everything.....this is america, this is what we do. Lets say i choose to leave my daytime job as a crime fighting superhero and develop and sell turbo kits, guess what, im gonna copy every good idea all the other guys have, nothing illegal about that sunshine…and my customer service and quality product would crush the competition. And will still be here complaining while im rolling on 20s and hitting switches…good luck with that cowboy

Fun Fact - the real tuning and secrets are in the clutching/fuel and a few others things, all kits are very different in that aspect.....so what is left that is the same and free game for other to copy?..A turbo, who knew you needed a turbo in a turbo kit?....face it young man, your point holds no merit

Boostburst ~ My name is Jason Whittaker and I ride a Twisted M1000. I ride with a good friend who has an 09 M8 with an Aero OVS kit on it. I love the OVS kit and I love my TM10. I would be happy to have either kit because I've realised that I'm addicted to boost. I know for a fact since I've personally witnessed the conversations that Shain has been more than happy to answer the questions about the OVS kit everytime my friend has called with a turbo specific question. I only say this because, yes I did buy a Twisted kit and yes I do encourage others to call Shain when considering a kit, but I don't and I have never heard Shain tell my friend that he was a fool for dealing with the guys at OVS. Can you do the manly thing or be a good woman and tell all of us here on SnoWest what your real name is and what your buisness or background is with Shain so you stop looking like such a self proclaimed idiot? Yes there are two sides to every story, but right now you're not telling yours nor have you in the last 20 posts. Again, I ask you to tell us your name. You didn't tell me your name when you PM'd me and told me that Shains kit would not work and that I should buy the OVS kit back in Aug. either. Well I'm happy with my choice, the customer service and the perfomance is KILLER. Sorry for hijacking your thread Shain, but this is getting old dealing with his **** diarrhea

Holy crap, what a read. As for boostrbust, that doesnt even deserve a response anymore. Shain has payed every bill from me and has helped me alot on my IQRT1000 project. I too would like to see a builders race on personal sleds, TT TM1000 vs. OVS TM1200 bring it on!!!

Does OVS run the EBAY intercooler on their 1000 kit? Been told and heard from OVS that "$2000" turbo setups wont run and honestly I'm quit happy with them. Kinda funny to hear considering the ching chow intercoolers Ive seen in pics. I would like to see ALL THE BIG TURBO MANUFACTURES line up a bolt on vs bolt kit to proove the kit and price of their product.

I was not paid by anyone bd, ovs, or brad so if someone accually hired me then at 1$ an hour they all owe me hundreds thank you.

We all have our favorite places to ride and places to deal ,true or false .What it boiles down to is who treats you well i don't know any of the guys you are talking about personally ,but i do know this MATT8's twisted system works really well and matt speakes highly of Shain.So if i was going to buy a turbo system i would definitly consider him ,if i didn't build my own.I like to put my self throught hours of sleep less nights of tuning.When i was building my system Josh at turbo performance was good to me.And you are right it would be good to see all the big boy's line up at the bottom of the hill with four feet of powder and go, after all are we not riding mountain sleds or should we be tuning for drags.

boy this thread got off track a bit ! we all know (boostorbust ) is a chump and im sure he dosnt even know the ovs guys letalone own a sled or even a turbo ! he is just a keyboard jockey with nothing better to do than bash people and make others ( OVS and brad ETC ) look bad ! anyone that has delt with shain on a business level knows he is a good guy ! and those lucky enough to know him on a friendship level knows he is a true friend and will help out anyone ! i for one am friends with shain and have only good things to say about him ! things happen in life and in friendships/business some good and some bad ! if ur PU$$Y hurts ( boostorbust ) im sorry shain wont fix that for u but if it is ur turbo u say u have and it needs fixed or repaired or u have a queston im sure he would even help ur sorry a$$ ! thats the kind of guy he is ! I've never dealt with shain, but I have dealt with travis and garr. I bought a purelogic box and holley afpr from them. I got raped on the afpr paying $400 for it when you can buy it out of jegs for $230. Then when it came time to put it on my sled I had a couple simple questions and I got no help at all. This is a quote from travis from a phone conversation with him "I'm sure garr will help you as long as you give him your credit card number first". Turns out I thought after dropping $800plus dollars with them guys they could answer a few questions for me, but i was wrong. Also the regulator they sent me had a torn diaphram so it leaked fuel, and was missing the spring so it wouldn't make more than a couple psi pressure. Luckily the one I bought from jegs for $200 less worked like a dream.

Even though I am happy with the control box I got from them, Purelogic and OVS will never see another penny from me!!!

I have tried to stay out of this because Shain has treated me so well and I do run his products. I will say that I have heard both sides and I see points but real business people know that if you talk bad about your competitor openly it only makes you look more unprofessional.

Also, I can name 5 OVS/Story customers that could not ever get their sleds to run for one day until they were directed to Shain by Garr or Brad. I have been to OVS after a day of riding with Shain when he spent his free time helping Garr on an early 1000 that he simply could not make run. He has also helped many others who installed BD/Story kits that would not run at all.

Shain has rough edges because he is a sledder at heart but he aims to make people's sleds run. He treats you like a friend and will go out of his way to help you.

I am not saying Brad and or Garr are bad but keep this crap off the forum.

BTW - Shain, you must love fanning the flames with posts like this. If your sled will take a 1200t am doubly pleased that I have one. Thanks for the last 4 great sleds.

I think I might help here. The first one of yah that sends me a turbo kit for my M7 for a tester will get a un-biased opinion!!!

On a serious note. I have searched all set-ups. I have seen the BD kits, and the CPC kits in person. Both look good. Both do the job.

But just like skis. Look how many types you can buy. They fit each persons style or look or price range. Turbos are no dif.

Now manufactures reputation is a whole new rehlm. As some of you know I had issues with the Boss box on my sled. Well after alot of posts by yours truly I got to speak to the "man". We got the problems worked out.

I bought 3 box's and another one from Attitude. Both companies have good qualities. I have to say I got better tech support right away from Attitude Ind. To me that says alot. And I posted my events with my REAL name. I did not hide. If you are going to bash be a man.

All of us on the forum benefit from post about what works and what won't. But we need no BS input..

freak can you help me out with some n2o yours seems to work well hook a brother up I need more for the plt boys if what travis says on here is true his kit is the only one that works. but I saw yours and it works great. it accually beat the pure logic kit that was on bdx m8 that was light as hell. but in diffence of plt the owner was a first time turbo owner and we all know that makes a diffrence.


so how about it Travis do you want to line up?

I was just hopein I could run one of there kits with out all the bs but thats no fun and wont happen anyway.


and boosturbust for the record at the end of last season I was not beat by any plt sled!!!!!!!

I was only running my Boss Noss as a burst system off the line. When I get the NPFI system running with vp116 Ill be able to hold it through the whole race. Ill be eatin t1000's then unless of course they have the Noss as well Id be happy to help you with spray on your 1000turbeast that would be a fun sled to see run for sure. The turbos love the happy gas!
