I get tired of hearing who's sleds run the best, I own a m-8 turbo sled one of Garr's personel sleds with pure logic box and automotive turbo it runs great . I want to know how many of the guys out there blowing can actually ride and who is just a bench rider ,all the sleds run good but not many can ride them to there full potential!!

im kinda the out cast here, i dont have an OVS or a TWISTED (next year) i do have a cpc turbo just like freak. so can i come??? and i promise , I CAN RIDE IT! oh and the guys i ride with, travis (skibumm) m 1200t cooper (coopchute) m8t , lance m7t , are some of the best riders on the mountain IMO.

b1dodge - Yes, come ride. I want to ride your pump gas Cutler TM8. I heard you was running 8 lbs of boost on pump gas. Is this true?? And by pump, do you mean straight 91 octance??

And its not that Shain didnt want to include Cutler and Boondocker, but he has run against them this year and has not run against OVS, so he was curious to see how Twisted stacked up against OVS. That and its kind of a Right of Passage for Shain to show the OVS boys that he can in deed build turbo kits, because they were more than skeptical on the matter.

I wanna come ride with some turbo's! My 05 BD TM7 with twisted bulkhead (literally, its twisted, not by Shain, but by a big rock up in Hyrum) is going to kick everyone's trash. Its Orange snow camo, so I might be a little hard to spot, but running the blaze orange snow camo I can run 5 lbs less boost and keep the same track speed. Racing up a hill, all you see is a track and rooster tail!

Seriously though, the only twisted part I have on my sled is a $5 innovate jack terminal. I needed on in a pinch, and Shain just gave me a whole box with 2 wideband sensors, and two of the much needed jack terminal deals. Awesome guy.

matt that is a great Idea I was thinking the same thing . When would work for you ? we do need more snow first.
although last year at this time I was still waiting for my sled to show up so a skiff is all i need.

I wouldn't be able to get there until the end of March. To many friends getting married and ruining my weekends! What's the latest you guys have good snow there? End of April?

So how did PT's sled's stack up against the BD and Cutler t's.I run a 07 m8t with BD set-up,cutler clutches,race gas,intercooler,it's tuned REAL well,run's great.Wish i had time to come check out the fun maybe learn a few things,CO is a long way though.Just curious.PEACE TO ALL.

The Twisted TM1000 ran a little better than the Cutler TM1000, but he said he was impressed at how well the Cutler ran.

The Twisted TM1000 ran a little better than the Boondocker TM1200.

He has a guy in Canada running a pump gas 1200. Not sure about the low elevation kit.

Spoon on the 4m has one. Running the TT1200 at 5#s He said it felt like his old BD 1000 kit at 10#s. What kind of octane can you get from the pump out there? Im guessing 94 and that would be plenty safe for a PG kit.

Most of the BP stations have 93, but I do see 91 a lot. I ran a full tank of 87 in my 1200 one day, it ran just fine. I have about 130lbs compression.

contact jeff at dakota performance... he has a 66 on his 1200 that he now has working very very well... he figured out what was holding em up and has the setup for ya.

he is running a race fuel setup but he can set you up a pump kit. your name says 1080 so you might already know him if you were running one of his 1080 stroker kits.

he just spent 5 hours flatland riding his the other day.

on a side note i rode mine for a half day down here yesterday, m1000 turbo setup by jeff, ovs auto kit with his touches, ran 14lbs at 1500ft for a full tank and it never missed a beat! was running 116 blended down to 112 or so though.

gettin back to the thread... would be interesting to see a showdown... i think the fairview trip might have to be in order this year!

ovs, TT, CPC, BD, SPS... how many other kits are out there... lots for the 2 strokes and all very very similiar, boils down to setup setup setup!

Or we could do something up in canada eh? For some comparisons, i was runnin 8-9lbs in 3ft pow. OVS areo on 10lbs, smoked him, nytros frnt and rear, one on 14 and one on 15 none could make it over the hill.. 2-stroke for life

Sell your sled and buy a clue man, everyone copies everything.....this is america, this is what we do. Lets say i choose to leave my daytime job as a crime fighting superhero and develop and sell turbo kits, guess what, im gonna copy every good idea all the other guys have, nothing illegal about that sunshine…and my customer service and quality product would crush the competition. And will still be here complaining while im rolling on 20s and hitting switches…good luck with that cowboy

Fun Fact - the real tuning and secrets are in the clutching/fuel and a few others things, all kits are very different in that aspect.....so what is left that is the same and free game for other to copy?..A turbo, who knew you needed a turbo in a turbo kit?....face it young man, your point holds no merit
