TRS Patriot motor mounts

I just ordered a set of trs motor mounts, yet to install them. I've ran my secondary aligned with the trs alignment bar since day 1 on a 2022 matryx 850pro . Got about 1350 mi on the original belt. What kinda mileage on these setups are guys seeing on their belts?
That's a lot of miles on a belt.

I have friends who insist on running them til they blow, and with how good belts are today, that can be well over 1k like you depending on all the factors.

I am the opposite, and change them out every 600-800mi or so. It's just preventative and relatively cheap maintenance, and I hate cutting out and cleaning up belts that explode and fail at the worst times in the backcountry. I'm also a guy who washes belts and cleans clutches thoroughly every 200mi or so. Clutch performance is greatly enhanced by cleanliness, belts in spec, and fresh springs.

Some guys install $500 worth of clutching and then continue to run a clapped out belt with 1k miles on it. Blows my mind.

All good points. The mileage you get out of a belt varies depending on a lot of things, but with that kind of mileage, at a minimum I'd try a new belt (break it in, obviously) and see if there's any difference. Running a belt til it blows is stupid (and might cost you more in damage than a new belt). The only belt I've blown was one I ran too long on my first sled, before I knew any different. Once you get a sled dialed in, it's probably a good idea to write down your peak RPM, and maybe track speed (hard to duplicate conditions though), to give you something to detect a very gradual loss by. Next, you've got belt deflection - it'll need adjusting a couple times through the life of a belt, but if you keep track, it's another way to gauge belt wear.

Ultimately, if you pay close enough attention, you can tell when you're losing performance to the belt, and that's when it's time to replace it. I'll prep and break in a new belt, then it's the "spare" until I feel it's time to replace the belt I'm running. That way, if you blow a belt on the hill (which shouldn't be likely), you've got one that's ready to rock and roll. Ideally, once you see a drop-off, you get a new one, break it in, the spare becomes the main belt, and so on.

Interesting, This belt still looks to be in very good shape, I also still have adjustment left on the secondary to tighten belt deflection. I clean my belt often almost every other ride as well as clean my primary and secondary. Curious what kinda mileage others are getting on a TRS aligned belt.
