Where is the wambulance when you need it?
The OKC bombing resulted in 168 deaths, I think it was 19 under the age of 6! And yet the liberal media and politicians were not screaming to ban fertilizer, diesel fuel, and rental trucks! WTF are they going to ban when the first wacko with a suicide bomber vest shows up in the states?
Do you think that it is the second amendment because it was slightly less important to the founding fathers than the first, but more important than the third?
For the record, the higher capacity clips are damn handy for prairie dogs, coyotes, and jackrabbits!

Its in the Politics forum, so there is room for an "Adult Discussion" about why so called "Gun Control & Assault Weapons Ban" is one of the stupidest things the Liberal Progressives have every foisted on the American Public.

1. Full auto, semi auto, single shot, ect... I would suggest you read the National Firearm Act, maybe then you will understand what guns are legal to own. I would not trust the Washington Post.
2. I have no problem with background checks, Those convicted of domestic violence or a convicted felon do not need to own or have access to weapons. Sidenote Ruffy did you know that if you recieve a dishonorable discharge from the military you can not own a weapon. I'm not opposed to even stronger background checks to keep those that are menality unstable from owning guns
3. In certain states they allow destructive device ie rocket launchers, you can legally own and fire them. I'm betting you had no clue about that one.
4. I'm againt mutual assured destruction. No nukes for me.
Bonus question. I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Quit raising my taxes, if two men or woman want to get married let them, who am I to deny them happeness, want an abortion, fine with me. Pot? Legalize and tax it. Hell I'm all for a safety meeting on the hill, I even have a gun bong loaded
Here's a bonus qustion for you:
If I take the proper precautions like the following:
secure gun room with alarm and camera system solid door
note camera five is outside the gun room and camera eight covers half of the room
keep my weapons in secure vaults

Why should I not be able to own any weapon that is legal to own?
Ruffy, I'm not the average gun guy, my collection is worth a more than most homes, I have done everything in my power to protect my collection/investment and keep it out of the hands of criminals. Why should I be punished for those actions of a few criminals when 99% of us guns owners are responsible.
Super side note: My father in law and brother in law both commited sucide. I agree it is tragic that guns are used. I can rant on sucide later

I'm trying like hell to rearrange my schedule next week so I can go with a buddy
14 of us are driving down tomorrow.
We will be there for the entire week.
