Just got back. 7 days at a 10% decline. That means my head was 10% lower than my feet. They brought me up to level for the first time yesterday morning. Looks like it has stopped on its own. I'm just keepin my fingers crossed cuz if it leaks again I gotta go back under the knife. Turns out it wasn't the stitches. I was leakin cerebral spinal fluid. Kinda serious.

Got the news at 10 after 9 this morning. According to WSIB I am no longer a mechanic. Too high a risk of permanent damage. So now I gotta see a psycologist, take an aptitude test, do a skills analysis and figure out what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life. Goes without saying I'm a little apprehensive, gotta change carreers with no warning. The word engineer was thrown about alot in this mornings meeting. Just had to vent.

sorry to hear. I have been fighting similar for 8 years now, but so far able to work and sled, just have to be careful. Hope it all works out for ya', might end up finding something you like better and pays more! 
Ya, I'm tryin to look on the brite side. They were also talkin "computer programmer" so I told them if I was stuck in an office all day hittin buttons I'd probably hang myself. I gotta be doin something with my hands (no not that) . . . (well not just that
