Stupid Back

So I get back to sudbury and find a registered letter that says I'm bein let go. This employer was one of the worst I've ever worked for and this was just the perfect end to the BS that they fed me. What a bunch of @$$holes.

Anybody else from Ontario have to deal with WSIB? Seems like everyrthing I say to them they think I'm lying. Really starting to get pizzed off at them too. I pay for INSURANCE against injury so when I need it I don't need to defend myself. I realize there are alot of people out there taking advantage of this but you can't fake a pinched nerve. Take a look at the MRI that can't be faked. I can't wait to get better. All I have now is time to sit and think about it, prolly just makin it worse. Well thats my rant for today.

Man, sorry to here you are still buggered up. Here's hoping for the best for you.

Michael

Sorry to hear you are still having issues getting it fixed. Less than 3 weeks after my back surgery, I am chomping at the bit to go riding. Have a doc visit Wednesday.

There is hope. My leg pain and numbness is completely gone.

Good luck

Just had my first check today 3 weeks after disk surgery in my neck. Still can't lift left arm, but at least they said I can drive again. It would really suck to be side lined all winter, but what can you do? Day time t.v. really sucks!

Tell me about it. Nothin will make you lose hope for the human race faster than watchin Jerry Springer. Sure they are all paid actors but still someone will go on tv and make a complete @ss outta themselves like that is just sad. Only so much PS2 a guy can take. Got 3 different sleddin games to keep me occupied but they all suck. Why can't someone just take the ATV offroad fury engine and make a cool sled game with freeride? I mean come on how many people would buy that? How hard could it be? Someone should get on that. Maybe I will. Got nuttin else to do.

I hope you get some better medical att. for that soon. I'd be afraid as long as it has gone on you might end up with some permenant nerve damage from the pinching. Time to rattle some cages if you can!

Jerry springer is bad enough, but who said Drew Carry was a good replacement for Bob Barker on the price is right? That guy sucks!

I know. I would have thought that Drew would be more comfortable in his new role by now but it seems as though he is still nervous. Of course taking over for an institution like the Bob Barker has got to be very nerve wracking. That being said I would rather him than that imbecile Rosie O'Donnell. Think about that. She would end every show with some half baked rant about gun control or gay rights. We got the lesser of the two evils.

Sad to think that all I've got out of the last few weeks is watching tv and new recipes from morning talk shows. When ever I get back to work it will seem like a treat. Kind of envious of the kids out running around with their 120 pulling a sled.

I would be too. Hey even if its just a track around the house a ride is a ride. Startin to think I may need to explore other career options. A friend suggested parts guy at a CATERPILLAR dealer. That might be interesting. Anybody on here work at a CAT dealer?

Anybody know where I could see some hill-cross vids. Tried lookin on youtube but not much there. Why did X-games ever drop that it was the coolest thing on the X-games?

I hear ya on the back there Pimp. I've been off since Aug. 27th and just got my first check on Nov. 15th. Now they want me to have the doc send more info to them and wonder why I'm not doing my physio any more. Can't afford physio twice a week with no income. Now they're sending me to Kingston to see a neurosurgeon. Leg goes numb as well as foot and the shin feels like someone hit me with a ball bat.
WSIB and insurance companies are nothing but a bunch of thieves.
Good luck to ya man. I don't know if I can ride or not this year. Gonna try this weekend.

Mark

Guess I don't have it that bad. No pain at all the doc said normally people are in tremendous pain. I was talkin to my buddy last night and he was sayin that a guy that worked at the shop next to the shop we used to work at is using a walker to get around and he is in pain all the time. Ya WSIB are just a bunch of crooks that don't wanna pay anybody. Good luck with sleddin this weekend. I am in no pain now and I intend to keep it that way. Maybe I'm just bein chicken but I just can't take the chance. So no ridin for me till I at least talk to the surgeon. Well good luck with yours I'm prayin for ya.

Mike

EDIT: If your leg is goin numb that's a pretty good sign that you have a pinched nerve. As I was told by a very wise man "DEMAND AN MRI". This is our health care system. We pay for it everyday. You need it. Don't leave till they put you in.

Went out to the Stud Boy "world championship" snow cross today. Must have been asked about 30 times where my sled was. Just felt worse about no ridin. Don't get me wrong everyone was concerned and that made me feel good but just a reminder of no sleddin this year.:( But the races were good. That new CAT looks awesome.

It's better to be safe then sorry..... Having an MRI will help, if something is wrong, they can find, then fix it...

That sucks that you are still suffering. I just had to get off the floor after getting a bill for my cotisone injection.

It worked a little, but was not permanent, so i had the surgery. Come to find out, my injection was $1,400 and my surgery was only $1,000. The surgery charge did not include the anthesse.. (drug Dr), but how can they charge $1,400 for a 30 second shot?

Get well soon. Good that your leg doesn't hurt. That was the worse than the numbness for me.

Just got back from my first appointment with the surgeon. Bad news, this ain't gonna get better on its own. So the doc starts going into all the risks associated with the surgery. Like more pain, no change, more numbness, PARALYSIS!!!! That last one scared the bejesis outta me. Figures the chance of it gettin worse from surgery is like 2-3% chance of it gettin better is like 80-90%. No sleddin this year.
