Someone is a little butthurt

Just me a deputy on the highway. I was running 70 in a 55. He flashed his lights at me and just kept on going. See they aren't all bad.:face-icon-small-hap

Yea that happened to me in Crested Butte a few years back. Used to pass and wave at that cop every day driving to work. One morning I was running late to meet my buddies at the trail head & trying to make up time on the road when that same cop passed (I was going 45 in a 30 on Kebler Pass Rd). He flipped the cherries on and just pointed at me, then turned them off and kept driving. I've never sped on that road since.

See how that works ????? just a little common sense, just don't see that anymore.

Pretty well every road in North America that isn't private is constructed under the guidelines contained in the FHWA Green Book of road standards. From what I understand, that is the bible for determining the physical properties of road design as it pertains to super-elevation (chamber on corners) which is determined by performing a ball bank test. Unfortunately, there is a significant amount of discrepancy with how these standards are often interpreted by contractors. It might be worth asking the insurance company to have an independent contractor survey the road to see if it is up to code. If not, I'm sure that your buddy has fairly legit grounds to stir the pot.

Lol, somehow I just tripped across my post ratings. Never even knew what they were before. Wouldn't ya know it, 5-0 had to go outta his way to give me a bad post rating. Seriously the irony. Can't even have a decent conversation without the doggone lawdogs patrolling the forums handing out citations. Man u need to get a grip. Thats exactly what I am trying to point out here. Guys like you think you need to run around whipping everyone into shape. I have been participating on online forums for over 15 years on a daily basis, i have tens of thousands of posts many of them heated discussions. My one career bad post rating, had to come from a f77kin cop!

So a same level paying member of this forum expresses that he did not find your posting helpful with regard to this thread and it is such a big deal to you you have to come whine about it... I feel sorry for you that your life and happiness is tied to your "internet rating". But after 15 yrs as a daily keyboard commando I guess that's what you get.

So just so I'm clear... Opposing opinions are fine as like as they are 100% in agreement with how you feel?!?!?!?

I am fine with you not liking "f**king cops... I fought daily to support your right to feel how you want and say what you want... But I get to do the same, and I did not find your posting helpful to this topic. Maybe go start an F- the police thread. I think your feelings and posting would be more useful there
