I also added another note on HCS that Ryan won't stand behind his parts and sells parts that aren't as described. I was warned by XCR1250 (moderator) that slander was not appreciated after Ryan cried to him that he was being called out in all of his classifieds topics (maybe the largest size letters in bright red caught his attention). I've never called anyone out but this topic hit a chord with me as I had a very similar situation happen with a 700 twin poo motor a few years ago and after a lot of B.S. I eventually got my money back.

Scott its easy for me to sit here and say what you should do since I don't have any $$$ invested but I am going to toss my 2 cents in. Don't let this guy use the cheapest parts out there. I would give him two choices 1) he refunds all your money or 2) you pick a shop to totally rebuild the engine on his dime. Good luck and I hope you do get either the engine you were promised or your money back

I agree. I wouldn't let the guy send me a crank or anything. I would either keep pressing for a full refund plus the cost to send the engine back. Or Have it rebuilt and he pays the bill. Then he might learn not to screw people out of their money if he ends up paying out of pocket and doesn't have the engine to try to scam someone else.

For those of you that might be wondering, I had deleted this thread this morning. I had several "reported Post" notifications (I'm sure you can guess who they were from) asking me to delete it. Since I hadn't read it yet, I deleted it to give me time to read through the whole thing.

Frankly, there is nothing in here that I feel warrants deletion. So, it is back.

FYI Ryan, the fact that "other people's phone numbers have been posted" means nothing since that information is already on the internet. Nice try though.

This is a big problem with public forums.. I have to RESPECTFULLY disagree with this line of thinking..

I will explain..

From time to time the "Kelsey haters" like to ban together and start a bash thread on me or my products... MOST of the time the allegations are TOTALLY FABRICATED from one of the "hater's" imagination and they revel in the splendor of how the thread progresses even though the bases of the thread is totally false.. So, what happens is that you have a "lynching party" on hot stand-by WAITING for the "subject" to enter. Now, if and when the subject decides to enter the thread for defensive or explanatory purposes... then the lynching party gets their wish and the thread goes even further south in a BIG hurry..

Point being.. just because somebody posted or started a thread on ANY public forum where somebody or some business is the subject does not make it TRUE!! Keep in mind there is always 2 sides to every story.. His , theirs, and the truth...

So, it is a fine line to make strong claims against anybody on public forums because very soon after,the lyncing party forms and grows at a very rapid rate..

Now, having said all that, SCOTT, has been a well respected member on SW for MANY years and is known to be a stand-up fellow. He also BACKED UP his claims with emails (even though these are not proof, they are pertinent and relevant). then couple all this with the previous history of this Yarrow guy, it stands to reason that the claims are true.. One can assme that these allegations are , in deed, true and warrant some resolve.

Now, you saw the lyching party immediately form and grow and threats insued.. So, if this Yarrow guy gets on this thread and "chimes in" I would suspect that things would only get worse for him.. not better! At this point there is nothing he could say or do that would gain him any respect from anybody in this thread..

So, Scott, being the smart person that he is, has used this public forum as a means to an end and used it in a very civil manner and it looks like, he may be successful (congrats).. But he has not threatened Yarrow nor really spoke the ill of him.. All the "hate" has come fomr the other people in the thread.

So, point being... just because you read it on a public forum, does not make it true! trust me on this one.. I can not tell you how many fabricated stories I read on here that I know to be 100% false.. but they get treated as "gospel" nonetheless..

Scott, handled this with a very level head and hopefully he gets his money back or the parts he was promised.

Yarrow's rep is already ruined and he has nothing to gain by coming on here to add to the thread IMO , of course.. So, the fact that he is not responding says nothing about what he is really doing outside snowWest.. Because, according to Scott, it sounds like he is trying to make it right vis PRIVATE conversation with Scott..

I know others would probably flame Yarrow for coming on here and defending himself but I think he needs to man up. That is the only way I would have an ounce of respect for him at this point. He needs to own up for what he has done.

I do a lot of business on here and I ask those that have purchased from me to post on my thread so that others know I'm an honest guy.
