Wow, this lame thread is still going strong?

Well I will be headed out in about an hour to go ride my chitty 09 xp, with way toooo much flotation and so light I can just throw it around way tooooo easy. Plus there is like 3 feet of new snow to deal with as my xp may glide around too easily with very little power needed. I just don't know what to do.

I guess I will have to just help a few of the other guys dig out.

I have a 07 rev and am in the process of buying an xp. Should have it by this weekend. I have not ridden a dragon better yet a turbo dragon, but I have rode the xp and liked it. I wish I lived near you so we could get together and compare each others rides. Where do you usually ride(Golden?)? You should do a little forum ride with some of the posters on this thread and you guys can constructively compare each others sleds. How bout it. Whos up for a forum ride near Golden (Not sure where that is)? Then we can continue this topic in a new thread, and maybe we will all be a little more enlightened.

OB: Doesn't the fact that you had to turbo your sled invalidate anything you say? You know, such as "out of the crate?" Aparently your own Poo wasn't getting you high enough on the hill so you had to put a TURBO in it!

In one of your last points you say that Doo guys spend hours in the garage getting their sled to run how we want it to. Isn't that exactly what you did to yours? Come on man!

Here is the simple reason why everyone is jumping on you: You come on a skidoo forum and trash a sled after only one day of riding on it. Plus it was a RENTAL!!! I'm not saying what you did was wrong, but come on, expect what you are getting in return. Last year I rode a yammi that my buddy was renting and I didn't care for it. But I don't go over to yamaha's forum and claim that it's a POS based on my one day of riding on it (plus it was a RENTAL!) And I've got to say, your floatation comment really shows your knowledge of sledding is not where your mouth thinks it is.

And I am open to other sleds. It sounds like the 09 M8 is awesome this year. Maybe it is the one to beat this year. Who cares! If an M8 consistently highmarks an XP then I'll have to keep it in mind when I'm looking at buying a new sled again.

The fact is, when you do what you did, then back yourself like a little kid as you have been doing, we are going to call a spade a spade and treat you likewise.

i call BS on this ... I have a 08' XP "X" 700 miles been through prob 6 belts and having to replace the clutch bushings for the second time .
even a DOO mechanic would laugh at you if you told them that ...lol
what do ya do ride trails at 5000 rpm for days lol
take that thing on a hill with sum powder and your belt will go ...along with your clutch bushings rollers then once those go ur ramps go the next thing ya know ur replacing ur sheeve (half the primary clutch )
oh and this is coming from a ski doo guy !

Apparently once again, you have not read my posts correctly, the rear end of the Ski Doo is too floaty and squirelly due to its extremely light weight making it too darty, the weight transfer on the XP is not right. Because I made a general statement about you think my sled knowledge is sub par? I can be as intricate as you like, for I do my research and I have rode it. Listen man, my sled actually climbed just fine before I turboed it, and meth injected it. But I turboed it so I could go the extra mile. One would think that is why you would add this option to your snowmobile, to go the extra little bit a stock or slight modded couldn't. As for wrenching man? I haven't had to touch it, 1800 miles on it not a single turn, once a season I know I have to replace my top end but that goes for any two stroke turbo. Its practically a turn key sled, which is hard to find in the two stroke turbo era.

And saying your calling a spade a spade is a little bit drastic, for all of you DOO fanatic's have jumped the line of being mature about my argument. Like you really wanna call a spade a spade? Look back into the posts where every single one of these guys comments on my riding, making stupid jokes about Napoleon Dyanmite wtf? And other misc. comments about how me and the other guy that complained about this sled are doubling etc. Just trying to reference me as being homosexual because I made a comment about your brand. Wow.

I dont mind now though. People are coming out and venting and telling the gods honest truth about the ski-doo. We all know where the facts lie guys, I just dont know why you refuse to accept it?
