Ski-doo xp.....terrible !!

You're right OB! You are right! I just had a lightbulb moment!

My sled with 1200 miles has had zero, zip, nada, nunca, zielch problems. It went through it's first belt at 1100 miles. And I guess in your one day on a RENTAL you would know more about XP's than the rest of us.

Thank you for setting all of us straight!

See when you respond like that how can I take you seriously?

I never said I knew everything about them, i said when I rode it, it was trash, then I went back and looked at all the problems with them to see if they were in relation to my ride, one would think a rental would be up to date with its recalls wouldn't they? Or have its problems adjusted because they obviously have Ski-Doo certified mechanics on hand to fix the issues. I never made any comment about knowing more than you on your brand, I just said I did my research to find out why the sled felt like crap under me, and I put it all together to create an opinion. Then you guys go off the handle, swearing and attacking like danks, then you call me a kid? Some nerve there bud, because right after your post look what follows you. A bunch of guys with steaks for brains just trying to look cool, but actually look like douche's. This is why I can't have an argument, an actual argument about the snowmobile because every moron with a Pentium IV, and a Rotax Driven Machine comes on here and tries to seem above you.

Its ridiculous though, I shouldn't have to have 2 weeks of riding on the machine for you to finally make me admit that is not just in general Crap. I understand the handling is something to get used to, thats to every riders discretion climbing on something that is not there personal brand. BUT, from what I could feel it felt like a piece.

Sorry man, 99% of us in here get along just fine. But its pretty obvious who thinks the other guys stink.

Yeah it is isn't it? Everybody thinks mine sucks cause I went to where you all can gush about it and I had something negative to say, so I guess all of you have the same opinion right? Mines wrong?

I wouldn't say you or your opinion suck.... but your manner of expressing it likely would rule out politics as a future career.
Is the XP perfect? Hell no!
Is it the worst sled ever? I can certainly think of a few that are worse...
Is Oberg dead wrong? Not entirely.
Is Oberg a lousy rider? How would I know, I have never seen him ride...
Is his demeanor a little abrasive? I think you can answer that yourself.

Yes, some people get blindly loyal when it comes to the things they drive/ride/buy. Personally I don't get it... yes, if I was on the team who designed and built it I might take your comments to heart a bit, but I am completely willing to admit it when I am wrong, or if something I bought was not to my liking. My previous sled was a boosted Apex, and as yammy loyal as I am I can admit that it wasn't the sled for me. But I will also tell you that despite the XP having some flaws I have been having a blast riding it and it has made me a better rider. Just my opinion and I'm not gonna jam it down anyone's throat.

Finally a post worthy of applause . . . It's obvious that this dude is a flag waving Polaris freak that will never admit another brand is better. BTW are all Polaris riders like this? If so then I'm glad I don't ride one!!!:beer;

OB, look at the other negative thread in the skidoo section labelled, Not impressed with the XP, what's the deal? See how this person has a little different approach than you? He's not quite the know it all you think you are. He even asks a question.

Ive rode Cat my hole life and wouldnt dream of putting anything on the Doo Forum slamming there product. Mind you i give my riding buddies a hard time:D. Oberg_89 perhaps you should post positive comments in the forum in which you belong....if you in fact drive a sled? It has been stated many times in this thread already but...im pretty sure Doo owners know 500 times more about the product they ride than i do and vise versa.

Have a great season guys and ride safe!

Thank you all,

Just remember, I didn't create this thread, I just defended the stance I took and the other guy as well, so don't mind me, just understand where the abrasive responses would come from, can you blame me? From page one of this thread though it just escalated from one thing to another.

I am not a 100% Polaris either, like any rider with half a melon on there shoulders, I like to have the best machine for performance and quality, the M8 looked great this year, so did the M1000, alot different reviews on the M1000 but i think I may give it a try, there powerhorses and you can create a serious sled out of them.

But all in all to all of those who were being unruly and ultimately retarded? I stood up for myself and the other guy like I'd do for anything. It doesn't matter the topic, I wont let all of you disrespectful rodents try and run me over, your just stand in's for good/respectful/knowledged riders.

I'm actually getting PM's telling me that I shouldn't call OB names like "Troll"
But really, I'm just stating facts.:D
In case some folks don't know what I'm referring to...

Definition of a Troll

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]

Usage
Application of the term troll is highly subjective. Some readers may characterize a post as trolling, while others may regard the same post as a legitimate contribution to the discussion, even if controversial. The term is often used to discredit an opposing position, or its proponent, by argument fallacy ad hominem.

Often, calling someone a troll makes assumptions about a writer's motives. Regardless of the circumstances, controversial posts may attract a particularly strong response from those unfamiliar with the robust dialogue found in some online, rather than physical, communities.

Experienced participants in online forums know that the most effective way to discourage a troll is usually to ignore him or her, because responding tends to encourage trolls to continue disruptive posts — hence the often-seen warning: "Please do not feed the trolls".

Frequently, someone who has been labelled a troll by a group may seek to redeem their reputation by discrediting their opponents, for example by claiming that other members of the group are closed-minded, conspirators, or trolls themselves

How many times do I need to say Do not feed the TROLL ??? :D

see I dont know why you keep going man? like i could keep rambling on and on about this, but I don't care wtf you say about me,

thanks for filling me in on the internet slang man, im sorry I didn't check the urban dictionary to check what it meant,

you should have checked out a sahara curry squirt and an alabama hot pocket while you were on there.

Stick to the sled.

If you wanna state facts man, heres a fact,

You seem like the kind of guy that comes home from work, and the first thing he does before he goes and gets his gear ready on the bed for next day is this.

1. Comes on this forum
2. Pulls a pocket mirror out of the computer desk, you know to check if your still a man
3. See's ive posted on the forum again with the ratios against me 1:1000
4. Posts thinking ill give two shi7s.
5. Looks into mirror again.
6. Sees ive replied.
7. Can't think of anything witty or knowledgable to rebut with.
8. Makes a dumba$$ comment thinking I'll care again.
9. I laugh but you can't see it. You wonder?:light:

Quit picking fights with me father of one, two or three, I don't care what you have to say, I make peace with them on here and you come out guns a blazing again, then flare it up all over again.
