WOW! talk about entertainmemt. i'm not brand loyal nor will i ever be, hell i'd probly even by a yami if they came out with a better mouse trap. anyway,
this is the best thread ever put on a forum. i just want to say thanks to all the snowesters who contributed to this thread making me for the most part LMFAO. now, cant we all just get along.

LMFAO, who's gonna be the 1st to have this quote as there sig line?

The only thing he's missing, is it had too much power, and it took me to the top of the hill way too fast!

I got a solution for ya Brad. Go to the gym, get 2 45lb plates, strap 1 of them to the tunnel, and one under the hood. That should take away the flotation problem for you. 2nd, trade your Summit in for a MXZ, and get the 121" track. Maybe a 550 fan or something so you don't have so much power, that your front end comes up.

This is by far one of the funniest threads I've ever read on here.

Just to make sure there is no problems here. Lets just put him on a early 70's Yami 292. He can were a single piece suit some mitt gloves and the old 60's Bell helmet backwards..:D

Well put Nate .. you are right, there is NO reason to be brand-loyal. and if ya are, you need to wake up! Every couple of years, someone has something better. I'll jump ship in the blink of an eye, and not think twice! I've riden 4 brands in 8 years, and every new sled I got was the best brand out there at the time... right now, Ski-doo is the big dog......Not saying i wouldn't buy a yami either, if it wasn't a tank! Because I have to say..... Yamaha has the best quality craftsmanship, period.

I have read every post so far....what was I thinking?

Tourette syndrome (also called Tourette's syndrome, Tourette's disorder, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, GTS or, more commonly, simply Tourette's or TS) is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder with onset in childhood, characterized by the presence of multiple physical (motor) tics and at least one vocal (phonic) tic; these tics characteristically wax and wane. Tourette's is defined as part of a spectrum of tic disorders, which includes transient and chronic tics.

Tourette's was once considered a rare and bizarre syndrome, most often associated with the exclamation of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks (coprolalia). However, this symptom is present in only a small minority of people with Tourette's.[1] Tourette's is no longer considered a rare condition, but it may not always be correctly identified because most cases are classified as mild. Between 1 and 10 children per 1,000 have Tourette's;[2] as many as 10 per 1,000 people may have tic disorders,[3][4] with the more common tics of eye blinking, coughing, throat clearing, sniffing, over posting on a lame thread and facial movements. People with Tourette's have normal life expectancy and intelligence. The severity of the tics decreases for most children as they pass through adolescence, and extreme Tourette's in adulthood is a rarity. Notable individuals with Tourette's are found in all walks of life.[5]

Someone reminded him of the forum rules, that you can't have two accounts. He now goes by the name of Oberg.

Alright all i want to say is i am a polaris fan. I read somewhere that the bashing would be appreciated. If anyone comes in bashing any sled i dont appreciate it. All the sleds these days are awesome. Everyone one has a preferece on what manufacture they ride. Going from one sled to another is always going to be a change. new sleds take some getting used to especially the xp. But once you get used to it its a sick sled like every other sled out. The thing I would like is when i have to get the sled unstuck i dont have to break my back. I rode one its not for me. But im not going to say anything bad about it. I didnt spend enugh time to get to know it.

I am still here just don't wanna waste my time talking to a brick wall aka ski-doo fans...but i am glad that i made this thread makes for great reading material before bed......btw Oberg i hope you continue writing i don't know about the others but all your post make my LOL.

Apparently once again, you have not read my posts correctly, the rear end of the Ski Doo is too floaty and squirelly due to its extremely light weight making it too darty, the weight transfer on the XP is not right. Because I made a general statement about you think my sled knowledge is sub par? I can be as intricate as you like, for I do my research and I have rode it. Listen man, my sled actually climbed just fine before I turboed it, and meth injected it. But I turboed it so I could go the extra mile. One would think that is why you would add this option to your snowmobile, to go the extra little bit a stock or slight modded couldn't. As for wrenching man? I haven't had to touch it, 1800 miles on it not a single turn, once a season I know I have to replace my top end but that goes for any two stroke turbo. Its practically a turn key sled, which is hard to find in the two stroke turbo era.

And saying your calling a spade a spade is a little bit drastic, for all of you DOO fanatic's have jumped the line of being mature about my argument. Like you really wanna call a spade a spade? Look back into the posts where every single one of these guys comments on my riding, making stupid jokes about Napoleon Dyanmite wtf? And other misc. comments about how me and the other guy that complained about this sled are doubling etc. Just trying to reference me as being homosexual because I made a comment about your brand. Wow.

May a spade be a spade then.

I dont mind now though. People are coming out and venting and telling the gods honest truth about the ski-doo. We all know where the facts lie guys, I just dont know why you refuse to accept it?

is that you teto

You're too dam easy Troll Boy.

The only reason I went cat is because thats what my friends have, and I tried them and loved them so I bought one...I was looking at the doo but with not a single issue on my m8 with 300 miles i'm happy

I did a trip through Valemont, Revelstoke and Golden. I was riding a 2009 Ski-doo XP800 162 X and it was the worst sled that i have ever ridden. When climbing the front end was so light that it would dart all over the hill. I think this is also because of the garbage 16inch wide track causing to much flotation. We had a m1000, m8 and a 800 dragon in our group and the ski-doo XP was the laughing stock of the mountain. Not to mention the thing went through 3 belts in 6 days because of ski-doos trash can clutch and yes i did break in the belts properly. I'm sorry to pick apart the sled like this but it was the worst sled i have ridden in some time.

Anyone one else have problems with them? Was it just the one that i was riding?

Thanks.

Do two more rides and you won't want to get off it. You just need to learn to ride all that light weight.

Yeah i do ride a sled i ride a 2009 summit xp163 X....i started to thread to get some info on how to set it up better...and yes it has been performing better now that i have gotten a few more rides out of it...still not satisfied with a few things but all just go aftermarket for them rather then screwing around with the stockers.

just to keep things stirred up abit. this is a true story.

I sold the pos 2008 xp for $5000 last march and i feel i robbed the poor guy that bought the sled. Doo was on top with the rev, now the xp is on par with the polaris 900.
