Silvertip's Playground (Highway 80/20/89/49)

Ok...I get it. That is the one I was thinking about. So Jason, how was it on top and was there not a cornice on it?

No cornice...a little wind drifted. Pretty easy (safe) climb.
I hope the conditions this weekend will soften by mid-day. Nothing in the forcast for 7-10 days. They were hoping for a pineapple express storm at the end of next week...but that seems to have gone by the wayside.

13 Jan 08 Grouse Ridge

I rode with The Lauser's, Tonyso, AO, and out for the first time this yr Haulingdave and my good bud Powderhound. The best climbs of the day were AO and Tony going out of Cave Lake, but the sun was right in the way so NO Pic. I will let AO talk what happened to him (if he wants toooooo):p It was nice riding with Tony today. First time this yr.

Jason, We came back by way of Black Buttes and seen all your GREAT LINES Did someone eat it going out the chute @ Glacier?? Looked like tracks right into the rocks on the right???

Guess Who

LTS Ride 15 Jan

I rode with Willis, Ed (HelmetCom) and Jeff (King o The Hill) off of SS and had a good ride. The only downer was Jeff sled died on him on top of Mt Lola. The only good part was it was an easy job getting him out. Ed hooked on and drag him back to the truck. Willis and I went down to the road with them. And then we went on a 64 miles ride.
Sorry to see the damage done Jeff. Sure hope you can get back up and running soon.
For the short ways we went it was nice to ride with Ed and Jeff. Need to do it more often.

Rescue of 3 Sledders in Paradise Valley

Kale here is the post I put up on SS.

Here is a link to the thread **** Found **** 3 sledders lost ***Found**

I want to thank Rick, Todd (OnTheRks) and they friend Richard. For all the that went into making this work so well. The Sheriff's Deputies were all good riders and know they stuff. As was the cast of all the help coming from everyone else.

THANK YOU all.

I really don't have a story to tell. We just went in and found them right where they told us they were from the land makers they could see. I/we were able to go right to where they were. Very cold and glad to see us.

As you can see in the Pic. we drove right up on them. Dropped out of the tree and there they were. I'm so glad every thing worked out for all. I still can't get over how cold they looked to me.

I only got 4 Pic. all weekend and it is of this.

I'd like to get out to English Mountain area this weekend. Whats the easiest way in? I've never gone out of cisco and wondering if it would be easier/faster then going in from LTS.

I would think that it would be fast going in from LTS. IMHO
