I rode on Sun with Anthony and Chad from Roseville. I'm not sure what the others thought. But I loved it. Lots of untracked roads and Mdws. I think they said something like "know one is stupid enough to try and ride here" But anyway did 35 miles of rock and log jumping. But snow was over USFS snow minimums.

Rode today broke trail all day LTS....was AWESOME but sucker holes everywhere! light and needing to setup a day or two! chest deep...and was great boondocking and prolly 3 feet easy at elevation

Let's be nice to AO, it's not his fault that he is a midget and was riding a girls sled all day and got stuck on the bunny slope. Maybe one day he'll grow up and ride a real sled, never mind both his sleds are girls sleds. AO maybe you shouldn't go riding tomorrow, the snow might be to deep and we might not be able to find you in the deep powder when you fall off your sled. See you tomorrow.

Good ride on Sat out of Grouse. Actually able to get off trail and do some decent boondocking and climbs in the trees. Glad I didn't bring the 1140, seems the little 700 was enough to give Chad's bad boy Ski-doo problems

Good Ride

I rode with Anthony, Chad and Greg and we had a very good ride for the snow condition. Not sure why but we were the first one's to make it to Glacier and on to Meadow Lake. An no one had been there when we got back. We did hear sleds in there when we were down by the Hour Glass. I had 62 miles for the ride on almost all of that was untracked. And VERY CLOSE TO BEING OUT OF GAS. Note to self carry exter gas DUMMY. I had way more stucks than everyone else combined. Once the guys know their way around they will be leaving me at the truck. I just keep taking them into the same spots but from a different way and its all new to them lol.

Midget Snow Depth Gauge To make to snow look really deep we use a Midget for a gauge. The snow was soooooooooooo deep that it was up to the arm pit of Anthony. All in good FUN buddy

Frozen Lakes

Is meadow lake frozen?, what about french lake?

Meadow Lake has been frozen over for the last two weeks. We crossed it a week ago today down by the dam in the narrow area. But this week it was good to go every where. IMHO But I would not stop on it yet.
And for French Lake to be honest I didn't look at French.

For those of you that DON'T know Anthony or myself. He is a VERY good friend of mine and one of the best riders in the country. I would not be bad mouthing him if it was to be personal. He knows what I'm taking the Pic. of him for and it's OK with him. If you just read my posts it looks like I’m being a JERK to him, but its all in fun with a very good friend.
