Is there a some kinda of servo bypass a guy can get and then just adjust the power valves open? if so does it make a hugh difference? i heard its a night and day difference.

If you are carbed, you can just unplug the servo and block the valves open. You don't need to fool the computer.

If you have EFI, you can get a bypass from Supreme Tool.

Personally, if you don't like the servo I would try STMs valves also, as I don't think blocking the valves open is the right choice. Other people like it, just not my cup of tea.

not all carb models will let you just unplug the servo but most will. lucky me i have one you need the chip on:mad:

This is news to me, do you have any more details about which models need the bypass?

my cdi is a production 03 carb but needs the chip i have only heard but don't know what the diff is. Stm said they have seen a few but the efi needs it for sure.

The dial should be adjusted so that the valves open at the RPM you want them to.

Stock valves open at 6900 on carb models, I believe.

On the triple we've got STM valves on, no two of the red dials are adjusted the same, and we are thinking about putting lighter springs in them because one is adjusted out so far.

I have the doo 700 springs in mine an you have to have them in just about all the way. this is better then having them out too far i have had them pop out and go under the motor before:mad:
