I was at the Polaris shop today and the guys in there said they went up yesterday and parked at Three lakes. Said there were a few trails that had already been groomed and said there was about 4 feet out towards garwood. He said they rode the trees almost all day and never hit anything so I'd say your pretty good to go! We are heading up Friday morning!

Enjoy friday Devin, Leave some untouched for us so we can tear it up saturday. Good to hear there are some groomed areas as I hate spending the day getting my kids unstuck. Although it is a lot better than when I get stuck.
I think we are going to 3 lakes. My dad doesn't even want to go to Diamond cuz he says its too far to drive for a day ride but they only have like 15 inches at Lake of The Woods. It is supposed to rain tomorrow then change to snow with 2-4 inches new tomorrow night and it is supposed to snow all night. Sunday is looking like the best day of the weekend weather wise. I want to go out during the week next week since it is supposed to be partly sunny basically all week. Hopefully it snows a bunch more before December cuz we are supposed to go spend a few days up at Diamond.

hey rc, aka rambob, aka don't call me bob robert, happy thanksgiving to you and connie!!!! you find any riding areas over there for us yet??? break in the new snowblower? you should load up your sled and come riding with me on saturday. gonna work a half a day or so today, or should i say spend my time getting sled ready for saturday. don't think i could stand being home for 4 days straight, my wife either
What an awesome day at Diamond lake. It snowed until about 2 pm then it was sunny til the sun went down! Sooo much fresh powder. We were breaking trail all day. Even when we werent in the tress we were breaking trail. Some of the trails had been groomed earlier in the week but had well over a foot of fresh on them so they were awesome too! We spent a good part of our day boondocking and climbing and never hit anything! There were times I was sure I was going to break something when there were mounds in the snow and I never felt a thing! My dad and bro decided to sink it about 20 times or maybe more so my shoulders are pretty tired from digging and lifting but it was worth it! I want to go back tomorrow but don't know if i will get to!

I'm hoping we'll make it up on Sunday. We have tons of family here from out of town and we may just have to ditch them early!

well it sucks to be me this weekend!!! waited to long to decide to go and missed out riding on sat. was gonna head up to bailey today with the medford gang but they were supposed to have 14 people, wow! dealer snow and a huge group of people usually doesn't end well. told ted to make sure to take a camera and post some pics of the carnage, said he was taking the video camera, even better totally bummed i didn't get to ride i'm such a loser, but me and bailey don't have the best history, add in low snow levels and the risk just seemed too high. that and the huge group, i'm a private kind of guy so stayed home and played with the grandson, did some honeydoo's for the little woman, even got the lawn mowed, yeah. now will have to spend the week hoping the forcast changes and we get some pow before the weekend, or at least a big dump at the end of the week, i'll take either well hope all you scum who got to ride this weekend had a good time, am hoping no one rode up kelsay way so next time it should be in prime condition. how about some pics ted?????

I gotta tell you, I tried saving up for a week waiting on a big dump, but it nearly cost me my life...... After 4 days of anxious waiting, I finally pinched that grumpy and then had to take a trip to the gasteroenterologist. He said he couldn't believe his eyes, and after the self-induced apeasiotomy, it took the rest of the week to walk normally again. I'll never do this in the future.
Just go riding, and take the chances with the dealer snow, IMO.
