Pro RMK vs. Ski Doo XP

sj, if they are actually capable of making an XP dance, just think of what they'd be capable on a Pro. Ride smarter, not harder !!!

Will never happen , if it did he would never admit it. Bleeds yellow. But you should see him ride!!
I swear he could hang with burant... id pay to see it. he lives in revy and rides daily.

Hey SH!T D!CK, you negative posted me first, dont call somebody out after you start something or when push comes to shove your d!ck will be in the dirt

Just leave and take your negativity with you. You are obviously a Doo rider and that is cool. But if you can't talk with grown ups then go to the Doo section where you might feel more warm and fuzzy. Nothing against the Doo section, there are good guys there too, but you are showing your true colors.

:light:so snowmobiler.... in your mood thing at the top of the page... i noticed you are a pro and a XP rider. I did notice you put the pro first. Are you coming out of the closet in a subtle way?

SJohns, I know your not totally brand loyal, you used to ride a cat also. Just give the pro a chance next time your in revy. I'm pretty sure you will like it. I'll bet ya a beer that if you ride one for a day you buy one next year.

You're right. I'll buy what ever seems to be working best at the time. I'm liking the pro so far that's why I'm over here slumming! Poo did some great work but I'll wait awhile and see how the motor does. See how far guys will be willing to get from the truck. Last year it wasn't far. Cat has something new coming and doo will tweak an already good sled some more. 2012 will be interesting!

I dont know why everyone is making such a big deal about this thread....I mean, C'mon, my El Tigre 5000 will totally butt-rape anything out there. It's like the Daytona Charger, it was just toooo darn good out there and everyone was left at the bottom of the hill cryin' -- Thats why Arctic Cat quit makin 'em, just so you all know. Everyone's all hyped up about the 2012 Cats, Cuz it's commin back. Yeah, they're callin it the Pro-Tigre XP

Yea I expect that cat will be coming out with a real sweet sled next year. Had it not been for the pro this year I would probably went with a m8. I'm thinking that cat will be showing up with something sub 440 lbs and wouldn't be surprized to see 425lbs. So far though been very happy with the pro, 750 miles in the mountains and rippin. Got to enjoy it now, we'll see what happens next year with more new iron.

Im sledless now.. sold my xp a week ago. My knees are cooked so im going to skip riding this year and see if i can rehab them enuff to get back to riding. Ill be very interested in what comes for next year. And how the pro lasts.

I put a 100 miles on my PRO this weekend as well as my wifes 146 XP. We dont have the best snowconditions here but did get about 15 inches of powder this weekend. Throttle response on the PRO is instant. Not to mention the throttle lever pull is much easier then my 800r. I like having the temp gauge on the engine its nice testing with scratchers up and down. The scratchers would drop me from 147 to 123 when on trails. Polaris did a great job with clutching on this sled, its spot on compared to the Summit. This sled is so easy to lay over I litterly put it on its side a few times this weekend. Me and the wife switched sleds a few times this weekend. She didnt like the PRO on trail, she thought the seat was to hard, the suspension wasnt set up for her so it was a bit stiff. When I jumped back on my summit I couldnt believe how much different it felt compared to my PRO. After owning 7 XP chassis sleds I can honestly say I will not be back on a Skidoo unless they make major handling changes in there suspension/geometry of sled. As long as the PRO will be a reliable sled I will be one happy guy. If the PRO is down on hp from the ETEC then its pretty tough to tell. And if the PRO was 20hp less actually even if it was 50hp less I would still take the PRO as this sled is just so much fun to ride. Im excited to head west soon.
