Pro Rmk big bores?

I'd be interesting, albeit possibly alarming, to see the stock cylinders from any of the 860-ish big bore kit providers after they finished...............0.176" is pretty thin!!!:face-icon-small-sho

I guess if the skirts stay on those cylinders we can certainly dismiss rod ratio as being an issue with these engines................




Stock vs 910 cylinder walls. This is what kelsey is talking about. Stock on the left of course.
 
They cant be any worse than the ones on this 910. Wafer thin walls somehow provide durability as well, according to some builders?

Have you compared your big bore to a 800 pro with a boondocker. I know there has to be a little comparison. I know the turbo will out do it on a long pull, but how is it compared on the bottom and mid range?

No, it adds MUCH more than that..

If my website shows it adding 11HP, the site is wrong, can you please tell me wher eyou saw this on my site?

But, just for grins... Let's add the 7.5% more displacement ALONE into the equation..
So 60cc/800cc = 7.5% more volume
So at 150HP(Stock HP) x 7.5% = 11.25 So, the cc's alone CAN/MAY add 11HP or so..

Thats how I understood it (I'm not a gear head).......maybe others wont.

Do you have a aftermarket pipe and map figured out for it yet or still stock pipe?
 
What's the reliability on your 858 kit? How many miles?


We have not had any failures with our 858 kit.. There are videos of it on the youtube channel that show it getting run and pushed hard..

We have been extremely pleased with it...

I watched em all. Seems to be running pretty sound. How many miles have you logged so far?
