Pine Pass Snow Conditions?

Rain and snow most of the day on Sunday. Snow was getting really wet and sticky. Should help settle the powder down and make for a good base. Now we need fresh on top of that and things should be great as long as the new snow doesn't slide. The trail at Hasler is brutal though and should be avoided. all in all a great day of riding with friends. You guy's coming from Edmonton should have a good ride no matter where you decide to go as there is lots of snow in the area now!! Be careful and watch for land mines and creeks, try and help the trail out and fill in with snow if you come across open water. The easier it is to get up to the hills the more fun everyone has.

haha yeah pretty much, but they're who's going. If they wind up in heavy turmoil on the trail in we'll go in and tune in the first few bowls. They'll get there eventually, or ther'll be a pair of once shiny new m1000's coming out on a skimmer. lol.

We rode Beaver creek on wednesday.Anyone thinking of going there should know the snow is hard from the warm weather on Sunday and not much for new snow. And the trail.............NOT FUN AT ALL!!!!! Very iced up going up the switch backs and the tree trail is iced up and stumps and trees everywhere. It's unbelievable that nobody wrecked anything. I'm waiting until January until I even think of going there again. Still way to early to go there yet guy's. Trust me and just wait.

Rode Beaver Creek on Thursday trail was ice and lots of stumps seen coolant on trail someone had a short day.Not much snow up top mostly wind blown. Staying out of there till new year. Headed to Bioux Falls Friday made it to the alpine. Hills still showing trees and rocks still enough snow to have fun. Trail icy in spots very rough. Rode pipeline and power line Saturday around Power king Awesome snow 6-8ft bottomless. Rain most of Saturday nite and still in morning at powder king. Creeks still open everywhere.

Rode hassler today. Very overcast and snowing all day!!! Had good ride tho, snapped the handlebars right off my m7 on a really good launch. Interesting getting that back to the truck. anywhere from 5-6 ft of snow I would say. Snow was relatively setup. Still lots of landmines. Probably wont go back till the new year. Big kudos to Flying Pig and his buddy for helping us out with the tow rope and loading the armless m7.............
