Rode hassler today. Very overcast and snowing all day!!! Had good ride tho, snapped the handlebars right off my m7 on a really good launch. Interesting getting that back to the truck. anywhere from 5-6 ft of snow I would say. Snow was relatively setup. Still lots of landmines. Probably wont go back till the new year. Big kudos to Flying Pig and his buddy for helping us out with the tow rope and loading the armless m7.............

Was that the one with the V.A. tunnel?

Awesome thats the pic of the trail I plowed when I snapped my steering post off, lil bit of exposed rock there. woops LOL........

Anybody braving the weather today? Stuck on nights this weekend. Should be warmer a bit up in the hills, rather than down here. Brendan quit pissin around and put yer leftovers on that sled........

Too Cold

Slediot its colder up high than in Chetwynd right now. I'm working days at the Pine River Gas Plant and at 6 am when we left town it was -18. Right now it's -24 up here. Not fun riding in this kinda weather.:(

some times tho thats how it works we went to tumbler last year it was -30 in the parking lot and once we hit artic cat meddows it was so nice we where strippin layers off like crazy lol got to love them days

Slediot we are goin out to Hassler on Sat.....You in ?

Sat the 20th of Dec? As long as its not freezing like this I will say yes fer now. Just got my m7 back together this mornin'. Did a bunch of machining on the lathe and rebuilt my steering post. Put er all back together this morn when I got home from work. Kinda pissed me off, was putting everything together and discovered another broken engine mount on the mag side of the motor. FU@$%CK it never ends...............

hasler was the first and only place i've ever been for real mountian sledding. now that i have a new sled i can't wait to get back up there.

btw some of you guys will find this funny but i somehow managed to roll my mxz on the bunny hill there first run.

thanks for the pics.

Lets keep a post on this thread of plowed parking areas. Nothing worse than wasting an hour of riding time changing areas so you can park your truck. Silver Sands will always be plowed but the Callazon Road is sometimes a spectical, sometimes people park on the highway right by the sharp turn. Anyways rode S.S. on friday, was okay. The creeks have opened up more since the last ride due to those warm days we had. Shouldn't be a problem after this cold snap and wind. We need mass amounts of snow. There is next to none.
