where s the launch point for Beaver Creek km wise south of Chetwynd if anyone would be so kind as to point us in the right directions would appreciate it.

not sure of the actual km's
there are several options....
first is before powderking you dip down into a swampy area where the big hydro lines cross, just after that there is a road to your left that back tracks along the highway up to the train tunnel. you unload and cross the train tracks and the trail takes you up to the power lines.

second option is a km or two before option one.. there is a small parking lot on the left, with a small trail heading up into the bush with a large information sign in the parking lot. this lot is usually full if the sleding is good.
there are a few small pull outs and roads in these areas that can do in a pinch

are you guys serious?? you make me laugh!!!!! I have personal, first-hand knowledge that hassler is wicked awesome!!! Some "people" i know rode there on tuesday. about 5 feet of fresh powder!!!!!!!! all you guys out there without extra HP better not even try!!!!! Crazy amounts of snow!!!!! ride there, I promise you, you will not be disappointed!!!! Just be careful, because many large rocks lie beneath the luxuios powder! The Polaris dealer is already ordering new a-arms for one of those "people"!!!oh, jrey and travis are full of SH#T!!!!!!!

Just go back from Hassler, 4-5 ft of pow. Landmines everywhere, trees, rocks, running water in all creeks. All in all good ride. about 25 sleds out there. Lots of stucks in the bottomless powder. Snow hasnt setup yet but will be ready for sure in a couple of weeks. Started to snow up in the hills as we were leaving. Guess Ill have to go again next weekend to see...........

so I should leave my heavy trailing arms on sunday?

just rode silver sands yesterday, and i must say one of my funnest rides there! probibly because the trail was smooth, but there was 3 feet plus of soft pow. not much for a base so everyone found some trees and stumps but that was expected. one broken front bumper, a cracked heat exchanger, one melt down, and a blown belt. all in all a great ride!

pual rode there last weekend and it was botte ess but hes out there again today so hopefully the conditions changed alot since then ill let u kno if he doesnt

anybody rode PK?

I stopped and talked to a guy last weekend at Tim Hortons. Him and his GF rode PK and said it was awesome but bottomless powder. Seems to be the Genaeral for the whole are right now. Couple more weeks Id say and it should be sweet. Rained in town hard today which Im hopin was some hard core snow up there.........

I went to Silver Sands yesterday to check it out. The snow is bottomless. The trail was pretty good. Some others tracked up every square inch of pow, they must of had fun. It was my first time there but I had a map, however I dont think any of the trails are broke to the bowls, basicaly trail riding with a few meadows and lots of creeks.
