Our Dog Was Murdered....

Pretty cruel remark to someone who just lost a loved one.
You sir are an azzhole.

Right back at you Mafesto, Last time I checked this is a public forum and everyone has their right to their own opinion. I do not care for small dogs. The way they bark at everything, who is to say it didn't provoke the German Shepard into attacking it.
You should be an expert, as I recall some of your posts have been more than questionable, imho. ie see: Patrol plans sobriety checkpoints. If you don't like controversy and are thin skinned, don't post a thread.

Not a huge fan of little dogs either.
My response was more in regards of the feelings of someone who just lost their pet.

It doesn't surprise me that the German Shepard took out the little dog. I have never seen one of those little kick me dogs not bark and yap at everything. They are so annoying, if you want something that small get a cat. The cat could at least get away. Big Dog 1, Little Dog 0.
You are one sad f... That big brave Shepard never made a sound and came from behind and had my dog before Judy could blink. After talking to the animal control officer we find out that this shep has killed one other dog. The owner has seven days to put the shep down. No I am not going to sue over my pet being MURERED.. Just chock it up to one of lifes trials. Yes most little dogs are suffering from small dog syndrome , as mentioned before a little training and our small kick me dog was well behaved. Dino

The baby's name was withheld because her parents were out of the country and had not been notified, Solis said.

Both... BOTH parents left a 6 week old baby at home with someone else? Holy Cow. I guess I'm too old fashioned.

if anything the owner of the boston terrier is negligent for not protecting his dog. Letting a small dog roam is not resposible ownership. Would you put your boston down if it killed a cat or a rabbit, no different than a big dog killing your dog. Suck it up and build a fence then apologize to your wife for failing to provide a safe enviroment for her dog

another ***gin idiot....

wether its a miniature ***gin poodle or a jumbo great dane, its still a dog, and still a family member.. you shouldnt have to worry about a neighbrs pet killing yours, fence or no fence..

hey suks cox...

you and waitin 4 u should get together and see who can be a bigger dickhead!

doesnt matter if the little dog had a gawd damn 3 pound steak dangling from his neck.. a pet that is in public should not be so dangerous that you risk it attacking another dog.. doesnt matter if its a 3 pound dog or 200 pounds..

It is the owners fault...........plain and simple!! I own, raise and breed pitbulls, one of the most problem pron breeds in the world!!! If you own a stong agressive dog it is YOUR respodsibility to keep that dog housed and TRAINED in a correct manner! German sheps are breed to be agessive just like rotts, pressa's,dobermans and many others. Even dogs like mountain curs, they are used for hunting. However are they not cross breed with pits to produce better catch dogs?? My point here is that if your dog runs into somone elses yard and attack's, let alone kills another dog or even worse a person, it is your fault as an owner. That dog act's like it was raised to act to a large degree, and if you as an owner feel the need to have a breed of dog that posseses these traits, please be shure of what you are doing. I have made the mistake of selling a couple of pups to the wrong people and have gone and taken them back!! Was then left with the job of placing a problem dog in the correct home,to avoid having to kill an otherwise good copannion. As for the boston that was killed here I am sorry for your loss!!! I am parcial to the little guys myself, grandpa always had them and I like there personality. But like I said it is the owners fault not the breed,it is things like this that fuel BSL!!! And noboby with any common sense wants that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so nice that when someones opinion differs from the rest, all some of you can do is resort to name calling. As I stated earlier, this is an open forum and everyone has a right to their own opinion. My opinion on small dogs is not favorable so I show no sympathy.....why should you care? I am sure that even though I wrote it, I was not the only one thinking it. Why post a thread or comment if you are thin skinned? To post a thread like this, are you only looking for a sympathetic response? You don't get a sympathetic response, then you resort to name calling because of my Personal Opinion? My opinion and a few others differs from the majority, so I get called names. Please continue on...............:)

Something else. It was stated that the owner had seven days to put the German Shepard down. Has there been a trial, and did the judge order the dog to be put down? An animal control officer does not have the authority to order a dog to be put down, only a court of law has that authority. Just remember, there are two sides to every story........

This is an opion of large and small dogs and I should care because as a medium sized, agressive dog owner I along with other owners get the chit end of the stick when ingnorent people that insist on owning these dogs because of nothing more than a small di** syndrome. The owners don't own and regulate these animals for the proper intention of the breed. So many people own and even breed different breeds of animals and don't fully understand how to regulate, let alone breed what breed they have. A lot of these animals are nothing more than weapons with minds and when put in the wrong hands become dangerous and unpredictable with kids and other animals. So, I do care about the opions and do want to be labeled as a pitt bull breeder and owner in the aspects that dogmen of old lived and breed by.

Shepards gone

The animal control officer ordered him to put the dog down, two dogs killed by this shepard was enough for him, and yes the officer has the authority too doo this. Dino

This is a private forum owned by the SnoWest folks but I do agree that everyone is entitled to their opinion as this is the good ol U.S.A.

I might also add that in my opinion you Mr. Snow Fox are a really big AZZHOLE!!! But then that's just my opinion.:light:

Anyone who would own a German shepard, Rottweiller, Pittbull, Doberman etc. Should be shot along with the worthless sons a *****es they call dogs. Those type of dogs have absolutly no purpose in this world, end of story!

Sounds like a comment an inborn child would make. Shoot them when they crown.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you were drunk or stoned when you posted that remark,
because I doubt if any snowmobiler is that stupid or ignorant.

But please correct me if you are.

That's like comparing apples to pigs.

Losing a pet.......losing a child.
The perspective is certainly in the eye of the beholder, while circumstances
are as unique as snowflakes.

I cannot sit here & say someones loss is less significant simply because it's a pet or whatever.

I know a few people that if you asked me who they were the closest to, I
would immediately reply..."Their dog".

On the other hand, we all expect to one day bury our pets, no one expects
to bury their child. That's just not natural.

Like I said, everyone has their own perspective on their loss & resulting mourning.

go over to the neighbors while everyones out and slide about 6 cubes of mouse poison under there fence. that will give that dog what it deserves. may not be death but definatly a painful sickness.

I won't discredit the fact that your friend (dog) was killed by another animal, as I too have had a dog die from cancer and it was very hard for myself and my wife to go through this. So I'm sorry for your loss. To compare a dog to a child is insane. We lost our dog, and were heartbroken thinking we wouldn't want another. 3 months later we had the little boy in my avitar who is now a year old and much much bigger. We have nothing but great memories of our old dog and this will probably be the case with you. I do have a friend who lost a 17 year old child and now 17 years later he's moved on with his life but he and his family still suffer from this. You want to see a grown man cry then talk to him about his son, as that is a real loss.

Now the fact that it was a German Shepherd doesn't mean that all GSD (german shepherd dog) Rotti, Pit, Great Dane, or any other large dog breed is going to do this to another dog or human.
I had a little ****zu attack me personally, and as easy as it was to field goal the dog, it had nothing to do with the size or breed, but how the dog was raised. Granted some dogs do have a screw loose and should be put down, but that is for the owner to decide, and if it harms somebody then animal control needs to be notified as the owner is probably too dumb to realize he/she has a problem on their hands. Sounds like this is what you've faced.

As far as suing somebody because their dog killed your dog, it won't happen. A dog is not vewed as a human, you might get damages totalling the amount you paid for the dog. But nothing for emotional or negligence.

The animal control officer ordered him to put the dog down, two dogs killed by this shepard was enough for him, and yes the officer has the authority too doo this. Dino

If I was the owner of the German Shepard, I would tell the animal control officer to buzz off. Sorry, but without a court order the animal control officer does not have the authority to order a dog to be put down. The animal control officer may he think he does, but will get a reality check if the shepard owner refuses to put the dog down. A Judge has to decide this......
