Help With Neighbors Continuos Barking Dog!!!

If it bothers you, I'd presume it is bothering your other surrounding neighbors as well. Talk to all your bordering neighbors and get everyone on board with constantly calling either the police or animal control, all hours of the day and night until something gets done. Police will get tired of responding and likely turn it over to animal control but make your problem their problem and they will get sick of you and your neighbors calling, and the neighbor with the dog will either get repeatedly ticketed or simply get bored with the authorities continuously harassing him. My guess is your neighbor will get rid of the dog and not get another because he/she won't want further hassles. Good Luck. Sounds like a miserable situation.

get the dog on ur property and shoot it, i cant stand barking dogs, when ever mine do they know to stop, but constant barking, do your neighbour hood a favor

I had a similar problem, except it was dogs and cats getting into my garbage and tearing it up to the point it looked like a bomb went off beside my house. I figured they were thirsty after eating all that garbage, so I pored them some purty green antifreeze to drink. After a couple of weeks people quit letting their dogs run loose and there were no more stray cats.
Thats an awesome Idea, the $50 would be worth not having the constant annoyance, I could get it in the bushs next to there fence. If non of the other neighbors see it there. hhhmmmm
Mxracer328 - if the dog ever made it on my property It would end up at pound in another state.
Also thought about throwing some Turbo laxative of something in a steak over the fence that wouldn`t hurt the dog along with a bunch of other foods that it would Stuff itself on, So it would uncontrollably Crap all over there back porch when they are not home. LOL

Why don't you get a bark stop collar and gift wrap it with a nice little bow and everything and leave it on their porch with a little note inside the box asking them to kindly install the collar on their dog or you'll be forced to take other measures to stop the dog from barking.

when the dog barks, just call him up from an unlisted number. every time the dog barks, the phone rings.

Ya know......... I have a real problem with your solution. You have said it at least twice now about poisoning someones pet. NOT COOL!! Or acceptable behavior from an adult. GTFU!! You probably killed some little girls pet. Animals dying that way is not a nice way to see fluffy or spot die. Ya know no matter how irretating this animal is I will not harm the animal like I have stated before, I feel bad thay I have thought of it, but will absolutely not resort to that, I`ll move first.
And tossing some antfreeze or rat poison isn`t cool, I had a neighbor lady one time and she didn`t like cats cause she thought they harmed spuirrels, No S*#T squirrels so she poisoned about 4 cats in about 7 yrs I had, along with numerous others around my old neighborhood,that came up missing I knew who was doing it but I couldn`t prove it, I even showed the Cops the cans or Tuna that obviously didn`t smell like tuna and happen to be behind on of her rental houses on the same street there was poison of some kind in it, and they wouldn`t doo anything cause I had no proof, Figures. This method of hers accidently took out a neighbors small dog too that had stumbled across it, I hear she still at it even after I left that area, but my friend still lives there, was hard to see my ex step daughter at the time,crying in two occasions that she found the dead cats in the back yard behind things, after playin hide and seek with my nephews, Of course they were pretty decayed when they were found and I had to dispose of them at that was just freaky and gross, I have never done well with dead animals.

I talked to the neighbor that just moved in next door to where this dog barks and said its driving them nuts cause it is about 12-20ft from there bedroom window. And they didn`t know what to do, Nor did they think anything would be done about it. She said she is going to talk to her husband and get back to me. maybe get the ball rolling.

People like you dont want to take responibility for their pets and cops or animal control dont want to do their job. Believe it or not the "Pound" DESTROYS pets every day. The only difference between those and the one this guy is talking about is that its fenced in.

We built a dog agility course across from our place. The kids love running our dogs through it, and they take the neighbors dogs through it too. My neighbor purchased a dominant breed dog over a year ago and they didn't really have time to look after it, so we have taken it upon our selves to walk her and train her. The owner is very happy, and is thankful for the help with her dog. She can be a handful when not trained properly. She was barking, and chasing people, getting into garbages..... you get the picture. With a bit of exercise for her boredom, and training for her manners, she's a joy to live next to now. I'm not sure if this is something that you'd want to do, but sometimes getting to know the dog helps the dog to listen to you if you were to give a command like, No, or what we say when our dog is barking, "stop that noise.". It sounds like the dog doesn't have an actual leader in it's life to impart acceptable manners.
