I have done the same thing before, it’s hard to wait until we have enough snow. I was also in Thin Air today and noticed “Miss March”, nice picture.

Has anyone been up Jarbidge way, lot less rocks in the pre-season and still some good hills to climb. I use to go up that way more when diesel was cheaper (late 90’s).

Haven't... but been thinkin about it. SNOTEL actually "shows" better numbers than what Lamoille is. But we all know how those numbers can be misleading (Lamoille only shows 12") Have days off til christmas and am really thinkin about taking the old ZRT or Exciter along and taking a day trip up there just to scout around... maybe Sunday? I grew up at Wildhorse for 15 years... rode ALL that country on my 1984 Enticer 340. From Merrit Mtn to Jacks Peak to Coon Creek Summit.

To bad you're broken Joe. We had a decent ride today. I patiently waited for someone else to break (literally) a trail to the lake, it may have been your tracks I was following. I made it to the Lake and was actually able to squeeze the throttle a bit up the shoot and do a little lake racing, I feel better now!!

Hey "Addict"... AWESOME! Gotta admit though... after cost of repairs and the time, as well as the "brow-beating" i've been taking from Elko county, I was still aimin at being the first trench to the lake. Figured someone had made it the last few days since the snow set. Glad you made it though. Had a good time pushin ya' last season for "last track". I think were gonna head up wed or thurs (snow tues?). Gonna check out up north tomorrow. If your interested... we'll get together over the week? Should have the Cat back together by tues afternoon.

Went up today for the first ride of the season and made it to the lake. That was as far I wanted to push it, but got some good road miles on the new sled. The new dragon is alot differant ride then the old edge! Still watch for rocks even on the trail.

....SO, PRETTY FRIGGIN' PI**ED-OFF! Place I ordered my suspension from calls me tonight around 4:30pm and tells me he's confused because the parts he was gonna send (thurs! pushed to fri, here MONDAY)... he NEVER sent. Seems Arctic Cat says the '03 and '04 are different (dont think so). Cant have '03 stuff here til thurs (back to work friday!) The ZRT clutches need work... so got 2 days to get the Exciter(old RELIABLE!) longtrack/tunnel mod finished! Because I've got 2 days(wed/thurs) to RIDE!!! The 900's out for probably 2 weeks or more...

That sucks Joe! I paid an extra $25 last Wed. to have my a arm here Friday..... Haven't seen it yet. It better be there when I get home tonight! Thank God for back up sleds! Think I still like my Assault better than the Dragon anyway.

Well... guess that makes me feel a "little" better. Im not the only one. Still woulda preferred we were BOTH back together and on the snow though! Yes, thank god for back-ups!

Looking at going again Wed. or Thurs. We'll see what this storm tonight does. Not playing in bottomless stuff again until we have more base. Might have to wait a couple days for any new snow to settle a bit! Sure we'll be up playing with the nitrous on the road at least! Or waiting for someone with more $$ than me to break trail!

Chris and I went for a ride today hoping to find big snow from the last front, unfortunately it didn't drop but 4 or 5 inches of snow. Here's a couple of pics from today, upper Lamoille is still pretty much a rock garden as you can see from the pictures. The lakes are perfect for lake racing though!!

Hey Scott...got up there late today, passed you guys coming down (was climbing up on the ZRT). For such a late start, we had the first "real" action of the season (as it looks like you did) Spent about 2hrs carving powder at the lake and NEVER hit a rock! (lucky) Though it is still HAIRY out there. Stayed to the right of the lake just as you top out... new area tomorrow (more scoutin') Even after I get the Mtn. Cat back on the snow... think i'm gonna stay on the ZRT and Exciter (after I get IT back together) 'til those ROCKS are GONE!
