Blaze... we LOSE ANOTHER 900?!

MAN... what a day.
Just got my ZRT back from Cutlers and thought I could FINALLY get a ride in. Been snowin like a banshee and was happy to find OVER a foot of new on the road at the bottom of Lamoille!
The higher up the road I went, the deeper it got at times pushing with the bumper! Ahhhh, but WAIT! Powdercrew is not "destined" to have a good day of riding on the mountain... as I approach the steepest part of the road where it dips down on the left side towards the ditch...

...THERE IS A TRAILER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND A BIG CREW CAB BURIED IN THE DITCH! (and not enough room for me to hold momentum and get by
) Situation: 2' of powder on top of 2" of ice and stopped with a trailer going uphill! Trying to back up the trailer is sliding and jack-knifing while the truck wont hold the road and is sliding off into the 2'+ deep ditch! Its OVER! 4+hrs of digging out, building a road with sagebrush, a 'Yota coming up with a winch and recovering the trailer... snowing the whole time! FINALLY get out and back to the bottom and decide to try out the ZRT anyways... and she runs like SH*T! Loaded 'er back up and headed home to call Cutlers again.
P.S. There is a ton of new snow in the canyon... I think it would be AWESOME riding if I can ever get up there!

i took a kid that had never rode before so i was more worried about him cracking up my other sled. we are guna video this thursday fri and sat are you guna be up riding this weekend. me and scott faimens son chris are guna get vids of climbing and stuff .

Maybe you've come across the vids I put together... maybe not. Small-time amateur, but everyone seems to like them. Would love to use any good stuff you get if your interested? Talked to Cutlers today... thinkin the jets are too big? Gonna change 'em out and hopefully get a test ride in by fri. when I go back to work...

Thought I would "blow the dust" off the NV thread! STILL havent recovered the 900... got my ZRT back from Cutlers, time to "learn" jetting! Cat spec was WAY too rich. Jetted her back down and shes running strong (at least up to Thomas campground...) Sprung a coolant leak, tipped her up on her side to check it out and found the axle bearing about ready to s**t out of her. Limped back to the truck... back to my shop she goes! Im startin to get kinda good at this:hj...
...on a happier note: some of the Cali boys are coming up for a few days and offered to "trade" a loaner sled for rooms and food. First time back out on the mountain in 2+ months!!!

Put on an AWESOME 7 hr ride in the rubies... ROCKNESTER slayed the chute at "Godspocket" and put on another "wicked" climb. Got some decent footage, The Rubies claimed ANOTHER a-arm on a "Cali" sled, I got the idea to build a steel bumper for my sled (those things WORK!) and got to try out the Polaris IQ (geez, you "sneeze" on those things and they'll lay over!) Pics to come...
